hey all, so my last blood test shows eGFR of 55. my previous one was 95. 6 months ago I got 110.
i have no knows diseases, no symptoms. the only changes are I went recently on a carnivore diet, and in addition to frequent weight lifting i supplement with creatine and whey protein. my protein intake is around 200g/day while the rest of the calories come from fat. other markers:
lipids:
Lipid Panel w/ Chol/HDL Ratio [Final]
Cholesterol, Total 244 H mg/dL 100-199 01 F
Triglycerides 349 H mg/dL 0-149 01 F
HDL Cholesterol 28 L mg/dL >39 01 F
VLDL Cholesterol Cal 65 H mg/dL 5-40 01 F
LDL Chol Calc (NIH) 151 H mg/dL 0-99 01 F
Comment: NP 01 X
T. Chol/HDL Ratio 8.7 H ratio 0.0-5.0 01 F

everything else is normal. non-fasted glucose is 91. i definitely felt dehydrated that day and over the last couple weeks despite drinking a lot. i suspect being in a ketogenic state is the culprit.
what other tests would you do other then repeating the comp panel?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
