HCG - Storage - Temperatures and Expirations

I have several bottles of HCG that have not been mixed and are still in the powdered form. I have two questions:

1.) The expiration on the bottles is 3/2/2015. I have read that HCG is not a sensitive as people think and that it will last well past the expiration date but just looses a little potency with time. Could anyone give me some good advice on whether or not you think its worth taking this HCG??

2.) I kept them stored in a cool dark place but while I was out of town my AC went out and there were probably several days were the temperature reached around 80 degrees. Keep in mind that it is still in a powered form. Do you think this effected the potency and if it is still good??

If they were not refrigerated during this time I doubt they have any potency left to be honest.

A peptide of this nature needs to be refrigerated before 60 days from the time it was produced.

A "cool dry place" doesn't sound like it was refrigerated.

If they were in the fridge the entire time they can hold potency for about 18 months.
