HCG and Prostate Heath

What is the relationship between using low dose HCG (200IU twice a week) for example, on the the prostate while on HRT?

I have tried searching for articles and have got various answers.

Does it lead to prostate hypertrophy or not?

Some who administer HCG (and testosterone) do experience enlarging of the prostate (as I have), though this is not indicative of prostate cancer.

How do you know when your prostate enlarges?
I am finishing up my 14th week of TRT and in the last three weeks I have been feeling my prostate burn and it feels like it is swollen. Really odd.

If we stop TRT - does the prostate shrink down?

I find it harder to urinate when my prostate is enlarged and as you say get a burning sensation, especially when wanting a piss. Also, I can feel it is enlarged if that makes sense.

All I can say on shrinkage is when a was cycling AAS when bodybuilding my prostate did get smaller between cycles.

Yes, that makes total sense as I feel the same way. Frankly, I never had issues with my prostate until I started TRT.

I can feel it when I walk, when I feel it is swollen. Kinda weird I know.

I really believe that Cialis is a great benefit to keep in your prostate healthy. I think every man over the age of 50 should consider using low dose Cialis everyday just to keep a healthy prostate.

Hey Vince, what is the thinking on using cialis? As compared to say saw palmetto or other prostate formulas?

Should have no effect even at much higher dosing and frequency

I can only say when I was on TRT without HCG, my PSA levels stayed steady for 5 years.

When this year I added HCG 500 IU twice a week, 25 daily DHEA, my PSA levels went up 50%. But twice I used a testos cream on my scrotum.

DHEA went up from 95 ug/dl (30.9-295.6 ug/dL) to 450, DHT was at 74 (30-85 ng/dl) and PSA had increased from 2.5>4.2. I do not have a baseline on what DHT was at any time in the past.

I am thinking it most likely the HCG since it is the most potent drug, but it isn't like my experience proves that it was the HCG.

So far I see no evidence that Cialis (studies) will shrink the prostate, a lot of evidence it relieves symptoms of BPH. To me an important distinction as if something you are taking IS causing more prostate growth, your prostate will continue to grow even if you don't have symptoms. (Maybe someone has a study indicating Cialis will shrink prostate?)

But I see an urologist in a few weeks, I will ask if he will prescribe low does cialis, can't hurt to have it on hand.
