Gyno question

I've been on TRT for years with hardly any adverse side effects. I have been battling early gyno off and on for about a year or so. I had lumps behind the nipples that went away, but I still have pain with one nipple. Took nolva for awhile and that helped and then an OTC e suppressor (which did nothing). Is it possible to just be e-sensitive? My latest labs were:

Total test 409 (264-916)
Free test 8.4 (7.2-24)
Estradiol (sensitive) 17.6 (8.0-35.0)

I've also been bloated, emotional, etc. during this time. I really expected my e2 to be higher.

Thoughts?

Some guys are extremely E2 sensitive. When did you draw blood relative to your T shot? a Total T of 409 is almost a "Low T" level.

Just by the numbers you're presenting whomever is managing your protocol is doing a pretty poor job of it but if you like being @ 409 and near the bottom for Free T that's certainly your prerogative. Besides its highly unlikely you have gyno beyond you've just settled on it in your head for something to fixate over.

Thanks for the replies. I've been battling Hurricane Harvey and I'm finally back at a computer. I'm going to switch my management to Defy. I've got my consult set up in a couple of weeks. Currently I'm on Androgel and I'm not happy with where I am. The test results were about 4 hours or so after application. I'm not taking anything else other than test.

Having experienced gyno on and off TRT, I'm pretty sure I know what it feels like. Given that it has responded to AIs in the past, I think that's the route I need to try even tough my e2 is in check (unless one of you tells me I'm crazy - LOL).

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
