You Can increase the amount each time, to get to the desired result, but, no matter what, you will either reach a length of time you feel good about being erect, or you will get a priapism if you over do it, and don't have severe ED. That's why you need to gradually increase the dose. I have pretty bad ED post prostate cancer treatment, and went thru Trimix to super trimix to Quad mix. I don't think I could give myself enough to get a priapism before having side effects from injecting so much drug. As for the priapism concerns, if your doc didn't inform you, buy a box of pseudophed, and chew several of the capsules should an erection lasting longer than 3-4 hour occur. Don't panic. Even if the pseudophed only partially relaxes your penis, if you are warm to the touch, you are probably going to be ok, but if the erection extends beyond 4 hours get tot he hospital. If you go on the Empower website they probably have all the instruction on line for mixing and for how to inject. Personally I like the thinner 31 gauge 5/16 needle. It's definitely less traumatic to the tissue.

[QUOTE="Ribeye, post: 264336, member: 43544"] By now, and after reading all the other good comments, you may have tried the Trimix. I have injected myself probably several hundred times by now over time. It really is easy, if you just relax and let it happen. there should be very little discomfort, but sometimes there is a pinch. sometime's I can feel a nerve effected in other parts of my penis as I am pushing in the plunger. Go Slow with the plunger and gradual, don't try to just push it in too quickly. DO rub the area of the injection for a minute or two, it helps keep bruising and or a little bleeding (we're talking a few drops of blood here) to a minimum. I find a little lube, and gently rubbing really gets the process going, so to speak. A word about how much to use.
