Feedback from those who added hcg to protocol

After 2 years of therapy, I'm starting to wonder if it's time to try adding hcg. My issue is after sex, I feel lethargic/tired/ mood tanks. In addition, my strength goes down and it's noticeable. I lose what little "pep in my step " I have so to speak. This magnifies if I have sex several times.

If I don't have sex, I notice a better overall sense of well being. Muscles feel fuller. Mood is better.

Anyone else have any experiences similar?

I had same issues prior to trt as well. It's prolly time for a consult with the doc

12 mgs test every morning sub q
1/4 tab caber weekly
Half grain naturethyroid daily
Arimidex as needed.

Prolactin levels jump dramatically in men, all men, following sex. Fatigue and a degree of somnolence result. That's the reason it can be a challenge to enjoy successive, repeat performances. In your case, it would certainly be a good idea to add HCG to your protocol, but that's not saying you'll notice this issue resolving. You well might...or you might not.

Prolactin is not an evil, no more than estradiol is. Too high, of course, problems result. Too low, problems result. Like so much of this game, balance is the key.

Coast, I wanna try hcg, but as you know, I've had sever issues with controlling my estrogen. I'm finally comfortable with it and due feel it's under control. I'm afraid of estrogen becoming an issue once hcg is introduced. But after 2 years, something is missing. Again no sex, I'm feeling good. After sex, it takes several days, approx. 5 to get back to a good feeling.

Sidenote, after two years my testicles are still the same size. Kinda wierd.

Hcg in large doses can increase estradiol but for the lower amounts that most on trt use highly unlikely unless you are extremely sensitive. Adding hcg will be no guarantee that it will improve your mood. On average testicular shrinkage would be not be too noticeable as the leydig cells only constitute roughly 20% of testicular mass and not everyone experiences shrinkage. Usually when one abuses testosterone/aas shrinkage would be more noticeable.

So grab some and start with a low dose like 250 E3.5D and see how you feel but I think CW is closer to an answer there with Prolactin, I see you're using Caber....have you had any recent PRL tests?

Just had labs drawn last week. And I'm waiting on results. Although I highly doubt my prolactin is high. The caber keeps it in check.

I take,arimidex as I'm very very sensitive.

Just as a side observation you have a lot of time here in months and posts to be this vague about what's going on here, to not lay it all out in post #1. All you're accomplishing is generating more questions back to you.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
