Estradiol Level continuously dropping on TRT

Good day all,

I am looking for some advice on estradiol levels while on TRT.

32 YO Male. Year ago had blood work completed.

DHEA 5.4 umol/l
Estradiol 30 pmol/l
Total Test 13 nmol/l
Free Test 260 pmol/l

Started started TRT protocol at 140mg/week, 500iu HCG/week and 25mg DHEA/day.

Bloods 3 months later

DHEA 7.4 umol/l
Estradiol 134 pmol/l
Total Test 33 nmol/l
Free Test 800 pmol/l

Bloods 3 months ago

DHEA 8.6
Estradiol 86
Total test 32
Free test 780

Blood last week

DHEA 9.2
Estrodiol 55
Total Test 33
Free Test 792

My erections have gone from strong to weak. I have aches and pains. Low libido. Tired. Irritable. I was feeling fantastic up until about a month ago. Nothing about my protocol has changed.

Wondering if this has to do with my estrogen levels dropping? I am feeling as I did when estro levels were 30. Not sure why the levels are dropping. I have not used any AI.

Any advice/thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

I have a similar challenge although my readings are much lower. I haven't found a solution but I have found that a number of things interfere with the aromatase enzyme that converts T to E including Zinc, Melatonin and cialis. I would check to see if any of your supplements or regular foods have such an affect. Unfortunately the standard online answer to this is to increase your T dose however I just seem to feel better at lower doses. There are other threads by someone who supplemented E2 directly using estradiol valerate IIRC.

Thanks for the reply guidedbyvoices.

Interesting, I do supplement with 25mg of zinc daily. Maybe I will ditch it for awhile and see if there’s any improvement.

I’d prefer to not increase T as my levels are in the highest end of normal range and was feeling great until the e2 levels started dropping.

I also supplement magnesium, d3, k2, omega 3, q10.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
