End of vial - double dip vs 2 pins?

When I get to the very end of a vial of Cyp, I usually just inject whatever is left then get a fresh pin and draw/inject whatever I was short from the new vial. I do this with the idea of keeping the fresh vial "fresh", and not putting the needle from the old vial, which had been punctured numerous times, into a freshly opened vial.

Is that what you all do, or is that overkill?

That's exactly what I do. When finishing a vial of testosterone or HCG, if I run short I start a new vial with a new syringe. I'm always afraid of contaminating the new vial.

I hit the bottom of a vial the other day and couldn't get a full dose and I too never double dip a fresh vial, use the same syringe. What I do is I'll shoot that short dose and also my full regular dose that day in two shots.

Understanding Your Hormones
