End of patent protection for Viagra and Cialis in the United States

With patent protection for Viagra and Cialis coming to a close a United States (U.S.) and Lilly's push to take Cialis over the counter, I am curious as to how the post-patent pricing model will look. Granted, both companies have fought like the ****ens to extend patent protection with some success, but it is only a matter of time before there are other sources for sildenafil and tadalafil in the U.S. My bet is that companies entering the U.S. market will work hard to maintain high price points. After all, the U.S. is where most pharmaceutical companies earn the bulk of their profit. The current cash prices for 100mg Viagra and 20mg Cialis are $40 and $60.00 per tablet at my pharmacy. Cialis generates $1.5B in sales every year in the U.S. alone. That is a serious cash cow to lose.

My local pharmacy priced the generic Viagra, saldenafil at a dollar a pill for the 20mg. I cut a 20mg in half every day, including leap year, so that's $15 for a month

Costco does not, Sams you hgave to be a premeier member, alas I already do costco. Thanks Nelson I will run that to ground. I take 1 20mg pill a day, we have a prettu steady window, I am wondering if its worth trying the 5mg cialis?

I just checked reliable RX and they didn't have any for less than a dollar a pill sometimes two or three dollars a pill depending on whether you want to come KumAgra Sumatra, can you post a link to where you're talking about

I ordered from alldaychemist last week (I dont use reliablerx) and got 80ea 20mg "Cialis" (40 pills plus 40 more as a bonus), for $73.60 (plus shipping)...so .92 cents per 20mg pill

are you cutting the pills down for a smaller daily dose?

I have, yes, cut them in 1/4s with a pill splitter its sloppy and imprecise cutting to 1/4s though. I always end with more like 40% - 60% split.

Reliable also sells the 5mg Modula tadalafil pills. If you catch one of their pretty regular 15% off deals, 100 5mg pills is about $75 shipped, or 75 cents/pill. A bit more than ordering larger pills and splitting, but still pretty cheap and you don’t have to worry about splitting.

Hey WB134, I have been researching Gene’s NO stack on this site and wanted to also to add the daily Tadalafil..I did have some minor ED issues prior to starting TRT and HGH therapy 6 months ago but the HRT seemed to fix that..I would like to try Gene’s NO stack for the health benefits, as I do work out regularly (weights and cardio). I would like to start with a very low dose of Tadalafil 2.5mg daily and increase from there if needed..My reason for replying to you is I noticed that you ordered the modula 5 mg pills. I just oredered them myself and will split them into two doses of 2.5 mg servings. I will start with that dose once a day to see if it works well with Gene’s NO stack to limit any possible side effects..

My questions for you are; Did you notice the quality of the pills were adequate for your use? Are you still using them? I ordered mine from ADC..still waiting for their arrival..

I have used the Good Rx application to find a neighborhood pharmacy that will honor their coupon for 100 mg Sildenifil tablets (30) for about $1 each. Splitting that pill once will offer a healthy dose for activity. As the Good Rx info tab for Sildenifil explains, the 20 mg pill is intended for heart patients. More typical for ED is 50 or 100 mg.
