does elevated estrodiol lower total t?

I'm having blood work Thursday. Just wondering because I've had a rough year. Symptom wise I feel it's estradiol related. If you've been on trt for 7 years you're probably not making your own T anymore.
If you have elevated estradiol it has to come from the injected T that is converted to E2 correct?
If so, that must lower total T numbers correct?

Action of the aromatase enzyme will convert some testosterone into estrogen. So it will lower your testosterone somewhat.
