Difference in ranges

I use quest for blood work I've used both of there testosterone tests over the years. One is a range of 250-825 the other is 250-1100. Question though is a level of say 800 the same on both tests even though the range is higher on one test? They are both ng/dl measurements.

The normal values listed here—called a reference range—are just a guide. These ranges vary from lab to lab, and your labs have a different range for what's normal. Your lab report contain the range your lab uses.
