DHEA differences?

Is there any difference between dhea from a regular pharmacy vs a compounding pharmacy vs over the counter at at vitamin store?

Look for a OTC brand that is "micronized", I use Pure Encapsulations - DHEA (Micronized)

Will do, but even with that is there a difference in potency or anything else between otc, pharma and compounded or is it all basically the same?

Tablets are more prone to aromatase thru the liver to some extent, micronized capsules are less prone to this, TD has lesser chance still of aromatase, as does sublingual. What I found with compounded or OTC cream is that the OTC versus (LifeExtension?) is big blob of goo that leaves you feeling heavily moisturized and a compounded one is much less of a glob of goo, is usually more potent, too.

I take the capsules from empower, not sure if they're micronized or not.
Just wondering if if go otc if there is a difference and if i should stick with ordering.

Id stick with empowers product, it's micronized and is the best potency and form you can get.

I like the OTC brands, I never had any issues with them. I bought good quality products and have my levels checked.

What dosage do you get and how much are they from Empower? How many do you get? I've been getting OTC but am interested in getting them from Empower.

I have been taking OTC from GNC (lol) for about a month now in evenings and working good so far. 25mg.
