Could low estrogen be the cause of my hands aching?

I swapped to testosterone cream (from injections) and started daily cialis about the same time.

Noticed my hands ache a lot. Like arthritis type feeling.

I know low estrogen can cause joint issues but I’ve had low e2 in the past and never had my hands feel like this.

Probably you crashed your e2, test cream increase dht much more than injections and dht countracts estrogen. cialis also lowers estrogen on certain people. Like myself i,ve tried 5mg daily cialis and my estrogen crashes even further, severe shoulder pain. Even fast acting test prop and sustanon kills my joints but i also have estrogen receptor damage to begin with. But cialis is known to lower estrogen so keep your eye on it.

Interesting. How do you know you have estrogen receptor damage? What do you think caused it?

Also why does test prop kill your joints? Like from estrogen issues?

I was considering trying prop next.

With the cialis though it’s got me thinking that maybe it might be the missing link from keeping my estrogen in range when on test cyp.

There you can see.

I concur, On of my low E2 signals is hand/knuckle stiffness especially the 3 fingers in the middle of my left hand. Once I made a to acute T dose drop while upping a DHT derivative dose, I ended up with a strong arthritus kind of hot sharp needle pain in the largest knuckle of the middle finger(only on the left hand, strangely enough). After correcting back to the right dosages these symptoms go, but slow, tho. I usually never make larger daily adjustments then 0.05ml but for some reason I thought I could get away with it.

It might not be hormone related, Cialis could be doing though. Too many think its always estrogen to blame. Some experience back pain or leg pain on Cialis. It should subside.

Never read anybody having hand/knuckle pain from Cialis, though.
Cialis is known to be E2 suppressive, hand stiff/pain could come from low E2.
Back/leg pain is a side of Cialis experienced also by men not on TRT.

FYI: I do not use/need any ED meds.

It affects skeletal muscle, which causes aches, it can happen anywhere. And Cialis doesnt crash E on most people. It may on some outliers, but labs would be the only way to know. Otherwise low E would be affecting other joints too. So the best thing to do is remove the Cialis factor and see what happens. Then take it again. But it doesnt suddenly crash E.

Sorry but I am suffering a bit of thread confusion.... It looks like you are talking to me but as I mentioned I do not use any Cialis/ED meds...

For this body, low E2 effects at first my hands with stiffness, then the middle finger knuckle has a sharp pain on movement but yes other joints like in the feet and to a degree the knees will follow(my skipping suffers). All is slowly relieved by adjusting my T and a higher dose of HCG but not too high to get stuck in a jojo which could spin out of control...... slowly with small increments does it.
(I tried an extra 500IU´s dose of HCG which relieved me of these symptoms but with the extra dose of E2 came a new set of problems....lol and that will start the jojo...).

I was replying to the thread at first, and now to you. Why does your E lower to begin with? AI? I dont take AI’s because my body has figured out how to deal with higher levels and adjusts accordingly. Im not gonna preach, but what makes people pop AIs is theyre looking to control a symptom that will resolve itself. No yoyo. The beauty is that I dont suffer from either low or high E because I dont mess with it. I just take my T and HCG doses which I also dont mess with too much.

Nah, I never took an AI not needed as I have no fears around high E2. As this body is probably not a good 5AR converter I really like the effects of adding DHT derivatives and I went to far in the dosing of one....
