What it might come down to, I believe, is how do you feel?
For example, I feel better when my thyroid labs are low/lower. I've been on a number of medications over the years trying to get things back to "normal". However, what it takes to get my labs to mid-range normal make me feel awful. I am just about hypo-everything (cortisol, testosterone, thyroid, VitD3, bradycardia, etc.) and my body wants to stay that way. When my thyroid #s get to average, I get heart palpitations and I get jittery.
So, one slightly high RT3 lab may not be a big deal. May not. If you feel worse, it could be. If it goes up every lab for the next year and a half, could be.
My main complaint is ED although my metabolism is quite slow as well.
I've tried seemingly everything else for the ED. If nothing else, I'll have to try normalizing this just to cross it off the list before accepting that an implant is the only option.
