Compounded Test Gel-Shelf Life

Hello. I have a question about shelf life of compounded Test Gel. The product was compounded on April 1/2022. I used it only once and stopped. It has been kept in a dark place ever since. Now i would like to restart the treatment. As per the sticker on the product from the pharmacy, it should be discarded on June 1. However, I was wondering if the product is still ok to use. It is supplied in plastic dispensers, so i have a product worth of 40 days of use. Thanks
