Clomid and “Perfect Numbers”

I posted something like this in a different thread but I think it probably needs its own thread:

I often hear posters claim that Clomid gave them “perfect” labs but they felt no better. However, these posters often only include their TT numbers and not their E2 numbers. When asked what their E2 was, they often do not know or their doctor did not order the test. Thus, they can hardly say their numbers were “perfect” if they don’t know their E2 numbers — their poor symptom resolution may have resulted from high E2 (which can be solved relatively simply) and not the Clomid per se.

I’m certainly not saying that it’s not possible for the “perfect lab, poor symptom resolution” scenario to occur. All I’m saying is that one can hardly say they had “perfect” labs without showing E2 as well.

Do people know of scenarios where people actually had perfect labs on Clomid (with TT and E2 in the normal/high normal range) and still had no symptom resolution?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
