Christmas Present arrived (Trimix & HCG) from Empower

I am happy to say I was able to talk my M.D. into using Empowerrxpharmacy after he initially refused. I believe he was getting kickbacks from a local compounding pharmacy. The local pharmacy was charging 190.00 for 10,000 iu.. Thanks to Nelson and Shaun from Empower for saving me some cash!! I picked up Trimix 5ml and 11,000 iu HCG for 155.00 incl delivery. Considering starting at 5 units for Trimix but not sure. Also, can I use 5/16" needle or do I have to use 1/2" ? Assuming 31 gauge needle. I have pseudophedrine and Benadryl on hand. Any advice for a first time user of Trimix?

As for your question about whether to use a 5/16" needle or 1/2'', it depends on how endowed you are. Use whatever needle that is long enough to penetrate at least half way into the Corpus Cavernosum (see image). Make sure you apply pressure to the injection site after injecting for at least 2 minutes to prevent bruising and the small chance of developing Peyronie's Disease (curvature of penis) over time. Also, switching sides of the penis when administering Trimix will also help prevent the development of Peyronie's.

As far as gauge is concerned I like to go with as small as possible (31G). Some providers are scared that if you get a needle that is too thin there is a chance that needle will "break off" and become stuck in the penis. This is not the case with modern syringes as the aluminum used to make the needle has gone through an annealing process to increase its plasticity, or its ability to deform without without fracture. To test this yourself you can grab one of your insulin needles, stick it in a vial and bend it back and forth. You'll find that it can bend a full 90 degrees without breaking off from the hub.
