Prior to TRT my total testosterone levels were 18-19 nmol/l, free testosterone (First time i checked it was 41 pmol/l, second time it was 24 pmol/l), SHBG was 69.99 nmol/l. The first time i was taking testosterone the dosage was 100mg per 10 days. And total testosterone level on 7th day after injection was 14.100 nmol/l which is like 406 ng/dl. SHBG was 47.3 nmol/l. Free T was 25.36 pmol/l. After that, the dosage was increased to 200mg per 10 days. But i started to have problems with erections and low sex drive. Problems which i never had, including prior to trt. I never tested it but the problem might have been estriadol which is why i lowered the dosage to 100mg per 7 days. The test results of being on 200mg per 10 days were: Free T 40 pmol/l. Total T after 4 days of injection - 48 nmol/l . Total T after 8 days of injection - 29 nmol/l. Total T after 10 days of injection - 21 nmol/l. I guess prior to TRT my total testosterone was okay. The problem was free testosterone. And it still is a problem. I am on testosterone for about 7 months right now. I will be having my second injection of 100mg per 7 days tomorrow. I hope that i will improve on that dosage. It's more than it was on the begging. But the Free T is still a problem. By the way, liver is all good. It has been tested via usg and blood work. All fine. I have a problem with thyroid (hypothyroidism) although it's mild and what's curious is that it should cause the opposite problem if i remember correclty (might be wrong, though). I am stressed. Cortisol levels prior to TRT: 314.8 nmol/l in the morning (range is 171-536) So, yeah. What do you guys think? Will SHBG decrease even more in time on trt, therefore free t will increase? Could something else bringing free t down besides albumin and shbg? Thanks. I will also give these results prior to TRT: Estriadol: 18.56 pg/ml. FSH: 2.60 mIU/ml. Prolactin: 9.11 ng/ml. By the way, i trust my doctor. I am just curious what you think.
