Blood Test After Steroid Prednisolone Shot (Methylprednisolone acetate or Depo-Medrol)

It's time I need to schedule my follow up blood test.

Last weekend I had an injury and the doctor gave me a steroid shot. Since it is a steroid I wondered if this would affect my blood test. As I see it stays in the body for awhile.

It was a shot in the backside of 80 mg Methylprednisolone acetate (Depo-Medrol)

Will this affect my blood test? And if so how long to wait?

I don't know about the shot, but I took oral prednisone for 14 days this summer for a bad case of poison ivy and it just tanked my T (I am on Test Cyp 75 mg/wk). I asked my doctor and he said that can certainly happen with corticosteroids. Just my experience.. we retested about three weeks after I ended the prescription and things were back to normal. During that time I had bad insomnia and weak erections.
