Blood results for fertility

Hello all,

I have been on TRT for 2.5 years. My wife and I are trying to conceive so I started a restart protocol one month ago. I started another thread with more detail that can be found here:

Fertility help

I have since lowered my clomid dose to 25mg/day and ceased the HCG therapy. I am feeling better.

Here are two blood test results. The first was ordered by my doctor. The second is a test I ordered on my own through discounted labs. As you can see my doctor is not very thorough with getting a full picture on levels ESPECIALLY for fertility(no LH, FSH, SHBG, sensitive E2). So I included some more tests on my own. These tests were taken only a day apart.

I was pleasantly surprised to see decent numbers after one month. But before I say I am a clomid unicorn, I do feel much better on TRT. My current libido is gone and erections are difficult without cialis. I’ve gained a significant amount of body fat specifically in my abdomen and hips. Are those symptoms normal with clomid despite adequate levels?

Also, should I worry about Prolactin levels on higher range? I’ve read that higher FSH levels actually point to inadequate sperm production. I had a sperm analysis done 4 weeks ago and my count was 22 million. I’m expecting an increase in Sperm count after continued clomid treatment.

Do you all have any input or recommendations?

Your results look pretty good. I would think it's now time to get your wife pregnant. :-) After that I would think you would probably go back on trt?

Thanks Vince.

Yes, I plan on going back to TRT + HCG to keep fertility going and not have to do a restart again should we decide to have more children.
