So I got some labs back that show the following:
IRON, TOTAL 93 50-180 mcg/dL
FERRITIN 93 38-380 ng/mL
VITAMIN B12 391 200-1100 pg/mL IG
HOMOCYSTEINE 8.8 <11.4 umol/L
My wellness doc would like to see my B12 numbers increase and he suggested supplementing with B12. So I used Pure Encapsulations liquid B12, 5000mcg of methylcobalamin.
One full drop, as directed. And it makes me pretty fatigued. Then I learned there's 4 different varieties of B12.
Some respond well to Methyl, some do Adeno, some to Hydroxy.
What do you all recommend for trying to increase my B12 score and does Methyl make anyone else tired?
Thanks.
