Any studies to show little or no LH and FSH on Androgel

Hi,
my doc wants to recheck my LH and FSH because he said that at physiological levels, my LH and FSH should not change. I told him that I read that exogenous testosterone causes then to turn off. He doesn't agree.

Does anyone know of any studies or something that I can show him? Preferably something from a journal or some study that he won't say is garbage or something?

Thanks.

Another question. How long would I need to be off external testosterone and HCG before a blood test will register a LH and FSH signal?

Your Physician is 100% wrong and if you are on TRT now he will see on your next BW that LH/FSH values will be tanked.

Exogenous Testosterone, via the negative feedback loop, suppresses LH/FSH secretion.

and he's treating you?! that's scary! your LH and FSH will shut down within two weeks of TRT, no way around it. now go tell your doc to go back to school ;)

I tried talking to him and he's just steadfast in the belief that physiological levels of exogenous testosterone will not cause a drop in LH/FSH nor will it cause testicles to shrink.

Damn, I might just have to go back to my old doc. The old doc was a great doc. He was up to date with everything and did the HCG, Ai's, etc. He even prescribed nandrolone. I just got tired of shooting with needles

Absolutely......scary how majority of Docs know nothing about TRT other than to write a script.

Even worse they can't even admit not having knowledge on topic due to ego.

First doc I went to had a impressive resume on men's health and ivy league education yet seemed to have little applicable knowledge on subject and did very little to but waste a year of my life

Time to get a new doc bro. He sounds worthless

Yeah, that's just plain sad! Friggin medical degree and he doesn't understand the feedback loop function! He could just Google it or Wiki the subject to get the truth. Epic fail .. How embarrassing!
