We conclude that the term “type 3 diabetes” accurately reflects the fact that AD represents a form of diabetes that selectively involves the brain and has molecular and biochemical features that overlap with both type 1 diabetes mellitus and T2DM.

Misdiagnosing Type 3c Diabetes

The health of people with diabetes is being put at risk due to the failure of doctors to recognise which type of diabetes they have, according to a study published in Diabetes Care.

"Altogether, the results from these studies provide strong evidence in support of the hypothesis that AD represents a form of diabetes mellitus that selectively afflicts the brain."
And lets not forget that LYME can also mimic Alzheimer's Disease (hmmmm Type 3 Diabetes also?). IF the DRs do not look for LYME, you are screwed, and if the root cause is missed, you wither away no mater what the treatment is.... Because it is the wrong treatment.....
