Got my test results back. I'm 7 months in on my TRT. I inject 75mg every 3.5 days. Tests were morning before injection. Looks like these are the things that are too high.
Any insight into this. I'll be seeing the doctor in a few days but I would like the smart people here to weigh in so I can have as much info as possible before seeing the doc. My Test Total level came in at 712. Oh and I was Taking DHEA but I stopped about 3 months ago.

High:
Hemoglobin 17.4 (13.2-17.1 g/dl)
Hematocrit 50.2 (38.5-50)
DHEA Sulfate 485 (106-464 mcg/dl)
Estradiol 47 (OR = 39 pg/ml)
Free Testosterone 192.6 (35-155 pg/ml)

I'll post pictures of the results if I can figure out how. Thank you.

If you can copy and paste the links above, it'll show you my lab results. It says something about the Estradiol test. Maybe you can make better sense of it.

Total test is good and your numbers aren't too bad. My hematocrit is also 50 and my doctor told me that he is not concerned as if blood pressure is good, he's not concerned. I also have the regular estradiol test, rather than the sensitive. My doctor is more concerned if you are symptomatic than with the numbers. He doesn't mind that number being a little out of range if you are not having side effects. I know most guys consider this sacrilegious not having the sensitive test.

Vince's question is a great one. How do you feel? Better than being a slave to the numbers. I found that 7 months was the time when muscle development really took off, with fat loss and definition. Are you working out, and if so how are the workouts going? That's a good indicator as well.

Numbers look fine, more importantly, how do you feel?

I suspect you felt slight symptoms before getting these done, and now that you've seen them, your symptoms are worse? It happens to all of us.

E2 is not the sensitive test so it's accuracy is dubious.

Thanks guys for the input. I started suspecting my Estrogen was increasing about 2 months ago. I feel good, but I don't feel great like I did for the first 4-5 months. My libido, which has always been really strong, has been up and down the last couple months. Sometimes I'm super horny, sometimes because thing at all. Sometimes my erections are strong, sometimes soft. Sometimes they start strong then I lose them halfway into the act. Again, this is not normal for me as they've always been great.
I think that's why I've suspected high E for the last couple months.
I used to wake up with erections every morning. Now it's maybe 1/2 of the time.

As far as exercising, I do landscaping so I get some physical activity there, plus I workout at the gym once a week, but I ride my Mt bike 3-10 mikes each time I take it out, and that's usually once a week. But I feel healthy and strong, so that's good.
My energy is down a little right now. Suspecting again it may be the high Estrogen.

So all this started 2 months ago? Any protocol changes?

Often there's a honeymoon period in the beginning, once that wears off you can "feel" worse, but it's just because you're going from 0-10. Now you're at 10 all the time and begin to forget how you felt. Plus there's also the physiological component.

I'd retest with the sensitive E2 test, sometimes there can be a 20 point difference.

Another thing to consider is donating blood, your HCT and HgB are starting to get up there, and many report feeling much better after decreasing those.

All in all, I wouldn't go down the difficult road that is AI and estradiol management before ruling those 3 out.

The suggestions contained in this post are very much on the mark. E2 management may be necessary, but it involves time and attention - particulalrly during the dialing-in phase.

Thanks for the ideas. Yes this all started about 2-3 months ago and slowly came on. It wasn't a sudden change and I haven't changed my protocol at all.
I'm familiar with the honeymoon phase, and this isn't that. My libido is worse right now than before I started T. The way I feel is directly related to my Estrogen or my H&H, in my opinion. I'll see my doctor in a few days and see what she thinks. I'll keep you posted. I'll probably donate blood after I see her and see if that makes any difference also.
