Hi guys,

26 years old from the UK here. If anyone could please give me their opinion on my blood results it would be appreciated.

To keep it short:
  • Most of the usual low test symptoms from mid teens approx.
  • Was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome around mid teens but was never given any sort of explanation and no in depth tests were carried out (in my opinion and from what I can remember)
  • Symptoms worsened around earlier twenties. This is when I noticed the symptoms such as increase fat gain & sex related symptoms. I feel I tick all the boxes for symptoms of low test, some more than others
  • Two years ago I started looking into low test and I went to see my GP. GP advised nothing was wrong and there is nothing else that can be done (please see 2016 results below)
  • A couple months ago I discovered Dr. Robert Stevens at the Men's Health Clinic, Dorset, UK
  • He advised me to use Medichecks to order TRT Check Plus (please see results below)
  • From the blood results he advised to order a Macroprolactin & Thyroid Check Plus tests (please see results below)
I have found a new GP and I'm booked in for an appointment this week. The aim is to have my results interpreted properly along with advise on the readings that are not normal.
  • Please can anyone give me their opinion on my results?
  • I asked Dr. Stevens - could TRT help/solve the thyroid issues as per my results? He answered, no it can make the thyroid more receptive.
  • So from that, am I correct in assuming I will need to treat the thyroid as a separate issue?
  • What are my options for this?
My plan is to book in and see Dr Stevens, I just feel I would like to understand these questions fully before seeing him. He has been helpful so far and agreed I would be a candidate for TRT.

Sorry for the long thread! Any help would be appreciated.

A very high TSH and very high Free T3 is odd, would like to see Reverse T3 as well.

You need to deal with the prolactin levels as this can lower LH and therefore testosterone.

Are you currently taking any medications?

This is why I don't want to jump straight into TRT without fully understanding what is happening.

No medications and no supplements whatsoever.

Please also note the borderline high T4 on both tests also.

Thank you for the reply.

Any other opinions on my results?

I have just registered with another GP who and has taken another (this will be my 3rd) set of thyriod bloods.

He outright said he doesn’t know what’s going on and if the results come back as expected he will refer me to an endo.

Thanks
