Hi people,

Im a 22 year old Male suffering with Low T symptoms, reduced teste size, sperm count, body hair growth and energy from using anabolic steroids in the past.

My question is that: If I was to go on TRT with HCG is it possible that if my testicles return to normal size and a taper down and stop the TRT+HCG that this will be permanent due to my side effects not being age related, or will I need to remain on TRT with HCG to keep my testicles up to their original size along with their natural production of testosterone and the benefits from it?

Thanks for your time.

Given your age, I would think most doctors would want to initiate full restart therapy...but only after a full workup is undertaken. How long did you use steroids? Did you run a pct? Do you have current labs to share? What input do you have from your physicians?

Hi thanks for the input,

So I took the anabolic steroids for about 10-12 weeks up until late september 2013.

My first bloodwork was late december and showed a testosterone level of 1010+ ng/dl, so im assuming the steroids where still in my body.

Over the next year up until September 2014, i was having regular blood tests which showed everything in the reference ranges and my testosterone dropped to 550 ng/dl and then rose to 930 ng/dl naturally. Even though this was a high natural level i was still experiencing the side effects as mentioned so my doctor decided to put me on clomiphene 25mg Every other day.

The results of the clomiphene treatment which was a 1 year course was that i had increased sex drive, mood and energy. Unfortunately my testicles did not return to their normal size and i was still experiencing a bad degree of erectile dysfunction with a significantly reduced volume of ejaculation and body hair growth rate.

After the clomiphene i spoke to another professor who then told me that it is probably my nerves that is causing the problems and that time will most likely fix everything, i suggested the use of HCG+TRT but he made clear that he would not prescribe this under any circumstances. I understand what he was saying about the nerves but at this point i felt ripped off and knew i needed new advice from another professor as my problem wasn't going to fix itself on its own seeing as it has been almost 3 years and no improvement at all has happened and i think anything within reason at this point cant be counter-productive.

My own thoughts are...
Maybe i should try clomiphene again but at a different dose
Maybe i should try HCG+TRT to compare my results to the clomiphene treatment.
But what i really want to know is can the change in increased teste size be permanent after the use of TRT+HCG?

Thanks

You are self-directing at this point? I would urge you to contact Defy Medical for a consultation/opinion. If you are in the US they can treat you, should you choose to, but even if you are outside the States, they can provide a well-informed second opinion that you can share with your doctor. A restart is possible, but you need an experienced professional to make it work.

You need to talk to Dr John Crisler at Defy Medical...he's fixed many men who abused AAS and got them restarted.

This is not an option...you need to do it and let a professional take over your health and recovery.
