2 weeks of test cypianate

My first 2 weeks of testosterone cypinate (80 mg per week) and HCG (250 IU every other day) has allowed me to gain 8 pounds while losing 1% body fat. I haven't put on 8 pounds of muscle in a YEAR for the past decade! Is this right? Could it be water or something? I feel my strength improving already (it will be 3 weeks on Monday). If this is real, I am FURIOUS I didn't do this earlier! I'm almost 47...

It generally takes 6 weeks for testosterone serum levels to even reach a stable levels when injected so two weeks in I would find it highly unlikely that it was a result of just two injections.

That being said, both HCG and Testosterone will provide for a Dopamine rush early in the start of a TRT protocol and probably why you have that "amazing" feeling right now.

Over time that will settle down and you will feel good but normal again.

It's possible your gain is some water, that is not to uncommon early on in a TRT protocol as well.

Nevertheless, stick with it and enjoy the healthful benefits...TRT is for life!

I had a very similar response as Ty in the beginning. Based on my past health history and the issues TRT has helped to ameliorate I guesstimate that I've had low T for nearly two decades. That said, I wonder if the duration of suboptimal levels has anything to do with how drastic the response is to TRT?

You definitely have responded better and faster than most. Read this:
