Wow man sorry to hear that, I thought they'd be able to do surgery or something. I'm making an appointment so I can see a specialist about it, I'd like to look into it a bit deeper now. Appreciate the help man.
Haha. Honestly thats what I thought myself and was freaking out while I was doing it the first time with a standard razor. To my great surprise it was the easiest thing to do, I've only ever nicked and drawn a tiny bit of blood twice within the year I've been on this cream. Just gotta get over...
Yeah I should have posted that, I do scrotal application, always have. It would be weird if the lower concentration (10%) jacked up dht more so than the atrevis 20% but I'm not entirely sure how that works lol. Either way I'm super happy it's cleared up because it was getting pretty damn bad and...
Yeah I actually just started doing that today. My plan is to do a full click (50mg) in morning and half a click late afternoon. Unfortunately my trt doc doesn't check dht so I have no clue where it's at, but ya I do scrotal application.
See I didn't do any research on varicose veins because I was always going by what all the doctors said to me, that they are superficial and arent threating. Thanks for letting me know the truth, I will be doing some research now.
I always wanted to get surgery done on my legs Anyways just in...
Yeah it's crazy how much it can change between compounding pharmacies. Unfortunately man I live in Canada so im sure there is none in which you can use. I'd give those guys a try though.
For now a helpfull tip possibly, it worked better for me to rub in only half of the cream fully and then...
Yes I'm certainly not going to be changing the concentrations or the base any more.
I've been through alot of crap over this past year I've been on trt as well, mostly with changing providers and their quality of cream base or how they compound it. And of course some symptoms as well.
At...
Thanks for the reply. How long have you been on cream for? Have you ever missed 2nd application in the evening? I have and honestly didn't feel much different, however I wonder if that would change after a few days/weeks of missing the second dose? Ya I wish I knew what my levels would be 24...
No no its compound cream, I was on 100mg total a day, 50mg twice per day. He was suggesting I could lower it to once a day application of 50mg if I was concerned with high levels but he didn't think it was necessary but it was up to me.
Hey I just had another quick question, just got off the phone with my trt guy and he said I could drop it down to once daily dose, so 50mg per day. Compound cream, originally 100mg per day total.
How quickly after the 12 hour mark does it fall? So Currently I'm at 1087tt 30ft 12 hours after...
Wow thats pretty crapy man but to each their own right.
That would make sense as to why my blood pressure has gotten much better after starting trt. I still take meds but very much in a better overall range consistently and lowered my meds as well.
I'm glad to here that, thanks for sharing. This stuff just gets you thinking right, and with Jo lindners passing some anxiety sprung up. I know he did more than just trt but his blood work apparently was phenomenal so... but genetics definitely play a major role though too.
Ya I haven't had any negative symptoms what so ever thus far anyways.
What's on my mind right now is possible dvts or aneurysms potentially? I've been reading some horror stories so that wasn't helping. Lol.
The reason why I'm even thinking this way is that I have really bad varicose veins...
Hey guys,
I switched creams from hrt base 10% 100mg a day (50mg twice per day) to atrevis base 20% same protocol.
My acne cleared up and actually feel much better overall, I suspected I was possibly getting less testosterone since acne went away however that wasnt the case.
My testosterone...
Unfortunately they are based in the US, I looked into that a month ago. In there FAQs they say they don't deal with anyone outside the US. I really hope that will change in the near future. Because Canada needs a few good trt clinics.
I could imagine in Bulgaria there are anywhere from 0-1...
I'm from Canada and here in Alberta finding a good doctor is like finding a needle in a haystack. most docs won't prescribe it to me at all and the doc that I have now is sending me to an Endocrinologist and I'm really hoping that I know less than he/she does.
I've heard of alot of endos around...
Was that your total T or free T? my total T is still in the 400s but my Free T is 278pmol which I figured it out as 8ng/dl.
Are you back on trt again? I remember you saying you got off for quite a while.
Also is it really necessary to donate blood every 3 months on trt?
Ya I know, my next appointment with truebalance is Nov 22nd I'm sure they will put me on testosterone, but the problem is they prescribe anastrozol and I don't want that.
I hope I can get into see the Endo before that time but I'm guessing it will be a 6month wait if not longer lol.
Anyways I...
Yup that's what doesn't make sense to me, the ref ranges are 175-700pmol and I'm sitting at 278.
While many people on trt, doing the conversion to ng/dl are lower than I am.
Could be the way the lab tests for it I'm not sure.
Supposedly my doctor wants to send me to an Endo but was kind of...
Yeah I figured it was a red flag too but I don't have many options if I want to start trt, so I've been going with a clinic that goes by Free Testosterone rather than total.
So I have a question about Free T, my recent blood test came back at 278pmol which correct me if I'm wrong is 21.5ng/dl...
The ref range for FT3 is 3.5-6.5pmol.
Ref range for Free T is 176-700pmol.
My body fat is around 18% the last time I checked was about 3 months ago. They never checked my shbg and I don't think they ever will they say it's not necessary so I don't know.
Ok so the CRP is nothing really to...
So I got my recent bloods back and i had free t3 drawn came out to 5.6pmol so seems not too bad. TT is 14.6nmol and FT is 278pmol. Dheas is 5.5umol
CRP was at 18mg/l ref range is <8 so it looks pretty darn high and I fasted for 13 hours and ate pretty healthy so not sure what that's about.
You know I really wish doctors were more easy going about doing proper tests and weren't so damn ignorant about it. I asked my doctor today about running a test on my thyroid and he said there was no need for more tests and I shouldn't be concerned with those levels.
So I might have to pay for...
Thanks I really appreciate the info, I'll look into that NDT medication if there is something that needs to be done about thyroid, I'm assuming it's still a replacement therapy and has to be taken long term? What is your opinion on optimal level ranges for T3 and T4 ? It would be nice to see my...
