Hi @jd6652brown, I'm 6'4", 390 and I've been as high as 0.35ml of 200mg/ml EOD, which comes to 245mg/wk. I inject SQ. I know my dose is above average. My doctor recommends I reduce it at each visit, and I've found that I get good results at lower dosages than this.
Sadly, that was the cost of the peptide alone. Looks like I got screwed. If the actual drug cost can be substantiated, I'd be interested in that data. Otherwise, I'm interested in where I source it for $100.
I wanted to wait until I had received my prescription, but here is my experience with Tailor Made:
I was prescribed a vial of Melanotan II, sourced from Tailor Made Compounding. It is 5ml in volume, at a concentration of 2000mcg/ml.
For this 10mg of product, I paid $400.
I'd appreciate...
My experience with pricing in the link below. The takeaway is that in the free-market healthcare space, it is common for meds to be ordered through your doctor, and they apply a markup to the costs given to them by their pharmacy partner. The sale of meds is a revenue source for your doctor...
I visited him recently. Decent fellow. Studied under Dr. Neal Rousier and appears to subscribe to the Rousier methodology in his TRT regimen. He's a fan of Jay Campbell's podcast.
I'm not currently his patient for TRT, I saw him regarding Melanotan II, as he prescribes and sources it from...
They are a compounding pharmacy. Your doctor will call in a prescription for you.
Does anyone have information on costs of various peptides sourced through Tailor Made? I just purchased some Melanotan II through them and I'm having some sticker shock.
I don't consider being transparent about costs I've incurred to be ballsy, but thank you for the consideration.
To be clear, the care I've received from Defy has been fine and I'd recommend them to anyone who asks. I'm not flaming Defy in any way. Their customer service is absolutely superior...
It might make sense if one could identify the ideal amino acid daily requirements. If that science exists, I'm not aware of it. Do you know something on this topic?
Interesting. Well Wisdom Vital Whey protein is a very expensive way to get protein into the diet. Its effects would have to be nothing short of miraculous to make it worth the cost for most people. Granted, I'm not a student on the value of each individual protein component. Maybe I'm missing...
Thanks for the advice! I'm less interested in the GH secretagogues and moreso interested in the products the "research" places provide (melanotan II, epitalon, HGH frag, etc).
I have reached out to Peptide Sciences through their "Contact Us" form on their webpage, and have not yet received a...
I'm interested in peptides, but I have some concerns. Do any of you gents who have experience with peptides know of a source that would openly discuss with me the subjects of:
Production facility
Source of raw ingredients
Lot control
Purity
Potency
Sterility
Third party testing results...
I think very little is bad about whey protein, but some are better than others, depending on what you're looking for. We've certainly come a long way since whey concentrate was all that was available (or not even available!)
In the end, it's a convenient way to ingest protein.
Gold Standard is a solid choice, and available everywhere. Optimum's parent company, Glanbia, is one of, if not the largest players in the protein game. People in the protein powder industry say that Glanbia "owns the cows". The Gold Standard product noted above is a protein blend of unknown...
That is without a doubt true. Dr. Crisler was a 1-man powerhouse who ran his practice on an apparent shoestring. He was apparently the sole medical licensee in his office, and had an admin and a webmaster. I knew of no other employees. His office was Spartan (pardon the pun), and his office...
My cost comparison experience of going from Dr. Crisler to Defy is available at the link below. Defy was a significant increase in cost for me, but their customer service is much better if that matters to you. I'm still questioning if I want to stay with Defy long-term.
Dr. David Nebbeling, DO...
My TRT journey began when my girl, who has an exceptionally high sex drive, got frustrated with me because my libido fell off.
A year later, we're matched again. It's been great! But I have told her that if she wasn't in the picture, my libido would be unmanageable and frustrating. It's a good...
I inject SubQ, and I prefer a larger gauge needle. I also inject EOD, so my loss was theoretically higher than yours. I was living with the luer-lock deadspace loss and compensating by drawing in a 0.04ml bubble, flicking the syringe until the bubble was at the plunger, then injecting such that...
Starting about in Sept '18, the FTF visit requirement was dropped. I was expecting a flood of new patients to make getting appointments difficult. I don't think he lived long enough for that change to bear fruit.
I was one of Dr. John's guys, and I chose to move to Defy Medical. I'd like to share my observations with respect to cost, as the costs are considerably different.
Testosterone Cypionate, 200mg/ml, 5ml, Empower:
Cost through Dr. Crisler was $37.50
Cost through Defy is $68
Cost through Defy is...
I now weigh about what you do (6'4", 375lb) When I started in May '18 I weighed 415. I can't see why I would want to come off once I reach my goal physique, which I figure is a couple of years away. I've never considered doing what you propose.
There appear to be a limited selection of sublingual DHEA products on the market. I recently switched from the Empower troche to the Swanson sublingual tabs. It cut my DHEA costs in half.
