When you are lightheaded during lifting, is it through the whole session? Could your blood sugar be crashing during the workout?
I have been experiencing light headedness on and off for 4-5 years and it seems to happen after a workout, but can happen anytime. I have monitored my bs on and...
I haven't taken anything other than vitamin d, zinc, and k2. I am not on trt. I'm just trying to figure out if I will benefit from it and have been for a few years now.
Are there specific symptoms of low free t or are they the same as tt? If so, how do the symptoms differ?
Is there a possibility of having low free testosterone for years and tt being in midrange(500-600)?
My main worst symptom is brain fog, but motivation, focus, intrusive thoughts...
You can also buy a glucometer off of Amazon. The are inexpensive and it will give you a pretty good idea if you are having trouble regulating blood sugar.
I recently had some blood work done and my ultrasensitive e came back at 19. I'm at least 50lbs over weight. Shouldn't my estradiol be higher?
Tt 413
Ft 57.9 pg/ml
Shbg 34
I'm 43. Not on HRT. I've been dealing with symptoms for probably the last 5 years and I've had anxiety/ocd my whole life.
I made an appointment with the urologist so we'll see how that goes.
Labs were done at 10:15 am. I haven't worked out in over a year.
I'm in a 400-500 caloric deficit 6 days a week based on my fitness pal. I was considering dropping calories more bc my weight loss has stalled for quite some time.
Thanks for the reply
Also, my fasting glucose is up ticking. I dont know if its dawn phenomenon or what, but my 12+ hour fasting blood glucose has been over 100 since I got a glucose meter last month. This is on keto days intermittent fasting.
Thanks for the reply! I'm down 50lbs since January, but have been stalled at my current weight since june'ish. I have gained and lost these 50lbs a bunch of times over the years. This time around it has been just diet and no gym work. I haven't been to the gym in over a year. But, I've...
I was wondering about that. I have read that doing keto for extended periods of time can lower t3, which also causes my symptoms.
Has the keto diet changed your thyroid panel in any way?
I will say that I have more of a dirty keto approach currently. I also have one day a week where I eat...
Hello, I just got some blood results back and am wondering if anything in here would be contributing to my symptoms.
Brain fog
Low motivation
Low concentration
Over weight (stalled out on weight loss on keto/carnivore diet)
The brain fog is the worst of the symptoms. It just makes it hard...
Which blood panel would be recommended if I've recently had a lipid panel done?
I'm wanting pre trt blood work done. Tt, ft, shbg, thyroid, ect
Thank you,
Erin
I know this isn't major, but I did notice that the range for low t was increased to 300 from 240. I think it's just a lack of understanding from the patient (me) and the gp.
Based on my recent test I wouldn't be eligible for treatment from the low t clinic I got tested at in September. You...
I guess I should have mentioned that I was at the dr for my yearly blood work. I asked him to run the tt and ft bc I'm still experiencing brain fog. This same dr told me I was fine with a tt of 340 so I knew he wont prescribe trt.
Hello, I posted back in September with a tt of 340. Since the first of the year I've been back on the wagon doing a keto/Atkins diet. (65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs) also, I've been working out doing 5x5 with accessories 3-4 times a week.
I just got my tt and ft checked and my tt was 522...
They responded that they only usually test total t.
I also sent my primary Dr a message telling him that I was considering starting try and that I had my total t checked and it was 340. His response was that since my tt was above 200 that I wouldn't likely see any benefit from trt and that...
Ok, this is a list of panels on the initial blood work done at the clinic. Estradiol, FSH, LH, PSA, TSH, CMP, CBC, Lipid Panel, and a Vit D 25 Hydroxy. She didn't say anything about shbg. Is this going to give them enough info to give the correct dosage. She said my insurance will likely...
I was listening to a t.o.t podcast and he said the obese people (which I am) shouldn't start trt until they lose the weight. Is there any truth to this? Among all of my other symptoms, weight loss is one I was hoping trt would help.
