Thanks for the advice folks.
Just clarify things, for the last year I have been buying my supplies over the counter here in Thailand without prescription as it's so cheap & easy, I've also been getting my blood panel done at a private blood test clinic. So I have no current prescription to...
Not so bothered about the Liver, it's just for 3 weeks to keep T levels at a decent level until I get back home. Not much alcohol consumption in Qatar to effect the Liver either. Just trying to avoid traveling with 15 syringes & a bottle of T.
Is methyltestosterone not an option?
I may have a 4 week contract in Doha, Qatar in january & was wondering if there is a oral tablet that will keep my T levels high enough not to crash after the first week away! I am trying to avoid flying into the middle east with a bag of syringes & T, as these countries can be very strict...
Arimidex (Anastrozole) it usually comes in 1mg tablets & a good starting dose would IMHO be 0.25mg (1/4) of a tablet per week, probably best cut into 2 doses of 0.125mg. It's fiddly if tablets are crumbly but worth the hassle not to go to high a dose to soon. Try for a month & do labs.
Good...
Your maybe not as high as I initially thought as an Australian site explained the range differences in the test as:
Men 13-42 pg/ml = 48-154 pmol/L
At 160pmol/L it's only slightly over. A very small dose of Arimidex could easily bring that into the sweet spot.
No i'm not in a similar position to you but you will find most of us TRT guys on this site are trying to manage our E2 levels. Me personally & a lot of members on here have overdone the AI's in the early days & crashed their E2. Be careful as it makes you feel terrible when overdone & months to...
Aromasin (exemestane) is a suicide aromatase inhibitor. I was warned very early on in my journey not to play with Aromasin. Arimidex has less side effects & easier for longer term treatment. Start really low dose & get labs after one month. Even 0.25mg twice a week maybe to much & cause your E2...
Gaining weight with non-clean eating, junk & mass gainer powders is easy but it's mostly fat.
Losing weight with diet & cardio is also easy but you will also lose muscle, which is bad.
Gaining muscle & losing fat at the same time is a very tricky science. It's taken me over 30 years of...
Adding Chest cable crossovers into my usual chest routine really helped lift & reduce fat in that area. No need to go heavy, just 3 to 4 sets of 30 reps do the job.
There's no need to say anything, just in case he is against such things or he is a bit of a gossip with other trainers or lifters in the gym. If your genetically gifted gains do come thick & fast for the first 6 months then dramatically slow down, TRT or not.
I tried SubQ injections with 2 different manufacturers of Test Cyp, one was suspended in Grapseed oil not sure about the other but both left nasty red lumps on my stomach so went back to easy IM top of thigh size 29 1" injections.
250mg is very high protocol. Try 180mg split into 2 injections a week.
It looks like your E2 test is non sensitive? can you confirm. If so 78 is not low, 45-60 is about perfect & 78 is on the high side of ok. My e2 crashed in the low 30's on the non sensitive test. Now i am feeling great in the...
I'm very sensitive to arimidex & for the last 2 months have been taking 1/8 0.125 of a tablet once a week on a friday. My 2 injections were Monday & Thursday with 2 HCG injections on the same days.
I hoping that my new protocol of lowering T by 20mg & injecting 3 times a week M/W/F will...
Previous labs:
These numbers are from 2 months ago on 240mg total injected twice per week with 2x 500iu HCG twice per week & zero Arimidex.
E2 Estradiol - 78.9 sensitive. (high)
Albumin - 4.16g/dl (3.50-5.20)
SHBG - 9.51nmol/l (18.3-54.1)
Total T - 1072 (249-836)
Free T - 40.3 ng/dL @ 3.76 %...
I crashed my E2 in the low 30's on the non sensitive test and I have very low SHBG which means I can take low E better than guys on higher SHBG. I personally don't go below 45 if I can help it. You are very low! Aim for 50-70 then see how you feel.
Completely stop on the anastrozole for atleast 6 weeks, don't try or be tempted to up the Test or HCG just keep it the same. If you feel better in 6 - 8 weeks time then get a test done & if still using the non sensitive hopefully it will be around 50+- which is good for me! It's matter of...
At 23 on the non sensitive test your about to crash your E2. I was in the low 30's for a few months & crashed with joint pain, tendon aches & depression. Don't let it get much below 50 on the non sensitive!! Pay for the sensitive assay (LC-MS/MS) test yourself if you have to, it's worth knowing.
Take a non sensitive test & see where your at. Before I found the sensitive test I crashed my E2 at 34. A good rule of thumb is not to go much under 50. I personal felt my best between 50 & 80. The comparisons i got to experience were the non sensitive test is almost double the sensitive test...
Hematocrit is a harder juggling act than E2 in my experience. I gave blood 3 times in 9 months to get mine down from 53 to 48 but it crashed my ferritin & Iron levels. I now give blood once every 6 months & take Grapeseed extract GSE & that keeps my ferritin & Iron good & HCT under 50.
Yes I am. These were the prices from my old blood test clinic. They seem about to the usual prices for tests unless you go to a top end hospital which is much more expensive. Easy to find a small indipendant blood test facilities in any major city or province in Thailand, just google it.
Everything on that list will cost about 3000-4000THB ($100- $120) from any blood test clinic. You may have a problem finding the Estradiol Sensitive (E2) test & will probably only find the standard Estradiol (E2) test depending on your location. It's just what worked for me & by no means...
Anastrozole is a dangerous chemical especially if your sensitive to it. I have a couple of tells when E2 is low. Get a little flushed & sweaty at night, then shoulders start feeling arthritic & finally my forearm & bicep tendons start to get achy. I've crashed once & come close like you a second...
That's good advice MarkM & I will probably have to go down the EOD injections road but for now i'm waiting with my fingers crossed that 8 weeks on 20% less Test then more labs will raise my SHBG enough to stay on a twice a week protocol.
Quick update after 4 weeks of changing my protocol. I reduced my Test to 180mg per week (90mg x2 per week) & reduced my HCG to 400iu x2 per week. I am back on the Arimidex at 0.25mg per week. I have also started back on the Grapefruit seed extract for my high HCT hematocrit & have started taking...
Thanks madman for the advice and i'll be sure to inject less more frequently.
Just for the record I wasn't on 300mg a week, I was taking only for the last few months o.8ml of test enan @ 300mg/ml strength vial which = 240mg per week.
The 10months before I was on 0.8ml of test cyp @ 250mg/ml...
The labs are in and i'm rather regretting my little experiment of letting my numbers get out control especially after such a great first 10months of smooth numbers! Swapping from the weaker 250mg Cyp to the stronger test Enan300 hopefully caused these numbers below.
HCT Hematocrit - 52.1%...
I once had 38 on the non-sensitive test and my E2 Estradiol was almost crashed!! 2 weeks later got a sensitive test and was 8.7 which was interesting to know and time to stop the Arimidex immediately for 2 months, then tentatively start back on less than half my original dose.
