My Dr told me that their pharmacy can no longer compound HCG, but that he is going to start using Kisspeptin-10 as the alternative without increasing my monthly fee.
He told me that Kisspeptin acts like GnRH and stimulates the Pituitary to release both LH and FSH. I've done some reading online...
Thanks for the response Vince.
I think I am just concerned with AIs given everything and wondering if I'd be best w/o it and a higher E2 (~58 last time I went w/o AI). I will likely be lowering my dose.
My SHBG is 36.1.
I wasn't responding to HCG at 500iu MWF, so I'm trying an 11,000 vial at...
My Total T (trough) is around 1,300. My E2 is at 26. That's a low E2 ratio...too low?
I've always read/heard that mid 20's is best, but at what T level?
According to the E2:T ratio calculation I found [min is (Total T)/20, max is (Total T)/14)] I should be between 65 and 93. But would that...
I have done a lot of personal research on this.
I have large testicles and have always had large loads...borderline hyperspermia. I've received comments my entire (sexually active) life. This all started declining about six years ago (I attribute my hypoG to a vasectomy).
But after...
Opioids essentially shut down the pituitary and will tank your T.
I also believe that low testosterone is a catalyst to addiction. There is plenty of research on opioids causing low T, but I STRONGLY believe that low T makes a genetically addiction-prone male more susceptible to addiction.
I've been on the NDT for two months now and my skin is still super dry. My E2 was 25.6 on Nov 15th. My skin was GREAT when my E2 was in the high 30's to low 40's this summer.
So can we definitively say that low E2 causes dry skin?
I found out that I have high Reverse T3, and subsequent tests revealed that I have very low Ferritin. My first test came in at 34 (30-400), so I began taking an Iron supplement (Proferrin Forte). After 45 days on this supplement, my Ferritin is now at 38.
I gave blood once back in June, and I...
I can't seem to find a definitive correlation to low or high E2, so here is what is going on.
The last week or so I've developed really dry skin on my face and scalp. I used to have super dry skin before I started TRT, but after a couple of months on my skin was great, even slightly oily (no...
Same issue here, but the folks at DiscountedLabs.com were phenomenal and sent me the other lab results I ordered!!
I wonder if there will be an issue with the specimen quality and accuracy due to the time since drawing the blood.
Wanted to post an update (for future readers). I had another round of bloods and had the following results (with the previous test results). This is after one month of supplementing with a Thyroid supplement containing iodine and selenium.

@1Draw thanks so much for this info!
I've only donated once, but I will get my iron and ferritin tested.
My T and E2 levels are perfect (1,200 and 30 respectively), but I feel like the benefits of being at optimal levels since I started TRT (April) are not being realized...hoping this is why.
I don't have much stress so I think my Cortisol levels are low. I eat a healthy diet. I am at a loss. I am not losing the weight I thought I would with total T levels (at trough) above 1,000 and I fear it's this RT3 issue.
I recently had labs and my RT3 was elevated. I bought a "Complete Thyroid" supplement (Iodine, Selenium, etc), but am wondering if there is another way to decrease RT3?

Thanks MarkM! I did not have the antibodies tested. This is the first RT3 test I've ever taken.
I've felt fatigued over the last couple of months, despite having perfect T and E2 levels. So, I thought I should look at Thyroid.
Any recommendations to lower RT3 (e.g., Iodine supplement)? I...
I am pretty solid when it comes to the other levels (T, E2, SHBG, etc); however, I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to Thyroid. I asked my Dr to do a comprehensive Thyroid panel, and the results are below. I would appreciate any thoughts. For example, is the Reverse T3 high? If so...
@Fatboy, I would HIGHLY recommend talking to Brandon Addison at Low T Nation.
I have NO affiliation with LTN, but highly recommend them.
I see that you've talked to Defy and Prime Body. I'd like to recommend you talk to Low T Nation as well. The CEO (Brandon Addison) is one of the most...
I've been on Ipamorelin and Mod GRF (1-29) for a month now and I've lost 8lbs of fat with no other changes to diet, workout regimen, or TRT protocol.
Ipa alone is very weak, but is very synergistic with Mod GRF.
On top of the weight loss, I've broken through plateaus on several lifts. I am...
Ah, sorry. I missed that you have already made a change. I agree that you should wait six weeks before making another change (if necessary...hopefully not!).
@carkrazy, you really should consider what others have suggested and immediately switch to frequent injections. For you, an E2 reading of 20 will feel like 40 to others because your E2 is not getting bound. Also, your free T may be high, but because of the very short half-life, it will be gone...
I have had chronic back issues following a football injury. Two ruptured discs, congenital stenosis, etc. I've been holding off surgery until my son is in college (I coach his football team). Nothing worked except pain meds, but those are not a long-term solution.
I started TRT, and after...
Same thing has happened to me. I've been pretty blessed with females (6'4" former collegiate football player). I am married. I've had girls flirt with me my whole adult life, but the last 6 years that disappeared...lines up with my low T after a vasectomy. After starting TRT, it has returned.
