I had the exact same experience with the t cream on the scrotum at half your dose. DHT was 480 and had t levels of 1300 to 1600...crazy. Just switched to Defy and am on twice weekly injections of T and HCG. Already feel better.
Not sure 250 IU was tested only the 150 and 500...in my case I do 350 twice a week which strikes a balance for not overloading myself but also knowing it is still in my system. I used to inject small amounts of everything daily. Life is too short. Twice a week works for me for both test and...
Defy is good about reducing your test dose if they start HCG...too many docs spike levels by just adding HCG on top...I find HCG to be more estrogenic subjectively
Awesome thanks Vince! You feel like you are realizing a tangible benefit from both? Pregnenolone kind of sounds like a wonder drug for those who react well.
I inject daily in an effort to keep my e2 low. So my blood draw was almost exactly 24 hours from my last 10 ml injection. Boy I am really ambivalent about using an AI. I am now injecting 8 ml per day for 112 ml per week (7x16 vs 7x20).
I just got my blood tests back and my results as follows from Kaiser:
Total T 1,470
Free T 434
Estradiol ultrasensitive 79
Dose is 140 of T per week with daily injections
I have been taking calcium d glucarate, but clearly I need to restart my anastrozole. I am going to a compounding pharmacy...
I find this all to be kind of an exasperating exercise. I am injecting 16 mg daily of test cyp. My sex drive is kind of non-existent. When I take HCG it does seem to spike my E2 and libido a bit. I don't want to take an AI because of hassle factor and adding yet another drug to the mix...
I now inject 350 HCG Weds and Thurs in preparation for sex over the weekend. I also take one arimidex on Weds. Otherwise my E2 gets >50. HCG is all about libido and nut aesthetics for me. I don't think it does anything for me mentally except make me a little grumpier. If not for the libido...
Vince what prompted you to get this sort of testing? Do you have heart disease and/or high cholesterol? What medications are you taking? Did you ever take a statin? Does TRT obviate the need to take a statin? Do you follow a ketogenic diet?
I would like to get feedback on how folks view statins, heart disease and TRT. I am persuaded that having low T is a cardiac risk factor. Indeed I have five stents to prove it. I have genetically high cholesterol and did have terrible eating habits in my younger days (fast food). However I...
I agree re: diuretics...who the hell wants to add that to the mix?! However, I still think water retention is responsible for a lot of the overuse of AIs so I think this issue needs more investigation.
Doesn't surprise me to hear that...too many folks have reported sexual benefits from HCG, i.e., there's a real effect at play. That said I have only seen a tiny bit of research around how much HCG spikes T levels.
It seems like a good idea to consider starting a thread to determine how many folks have opted to stop HCG. I'm definitely feeling like it makes me quicker to anger.
Thanks Nelson. This is an important issue. I just watched your video with Dr. Ramasamy where he states that BOTH testosterone and estradiol cause water retention. Since starting T therapy I have gained a significant amount of weight 15+ pounds and I have started to snore. I have used AI at...
I hate you guys. While going to daily injections has definitely helped E2 spikes I put on 20 pounds since restarting TRT in December. Yes I exercise but I sure as shit am not magically shedding weight. Annoying as hell.
