His estrogen is at 8. So we were intentionally trying to bring that to a healthier range by supplementing DHEA. I just don't know if his DHEA blood work is considered low or not
DHEA-S 2.55 µmol/L
Reference range 1.30-9.80
He's been walking daily. Been changing his diet for the better as well. I'm curious how his DHEA results by look. If maybe he'd benefit from DHEA supplement
My dad got his bloodwork back. I'm unfamiliar with DHEA results as it's not been an issue for me. I'm also unfamiliar with the unit of measurement he was given on his results.
DHEA-S 2.55 µmol/L
Reference range 1.30-9.80
Would he benefit from a DHEA supplement considering his low estrogen...
Thanks for the responses guys, here's a couple photos:

Red flags to me is that it's in a bottle instead of blister packs, and though the impression seems fine, the edge of the pill is kind of chipped on some of the pills. The taste was a red...
A friend out here in Asia gave me a few bottles of Cialis 20mg which I'll be breaking them up and using as a part of a body building stack. He got them from India, and I'm just trying to determine if they are real. I'll be breaking them up in quarters, taking 5mg in the morning, 5mg at night. I...
Great advice and I agree! That's a good point about taking things slowly. I had mentioned that he needs to change his diet, which I've offered assistance on as well as start jogging at the track in the evenings. But some speed walking would perhaps be a better start and he can work his way up...
Honestly I'm kind of stuck, I was hoping that he had a basic low T blood work that I could utilize my knowledge on to help him safely start a TRT protocol. But I've never heard of anybody with such low estrogen and normal T levels. He's willing to pay to have his DHEA checked when I go in to...
He'd be open to it if he'd need it. But as it stands, it appears that perhaps he wouldn't require it. But his estrogen is very low. And unless DHEA helps that, I'm not sure how to raise his estrogen aside from raising his T levels by starting a TRT protocol. I think he'd benefit from TRT to a...
His symptoms are that of similar to low testosterone. Which I have found online that low estrogen can provide pretty much the same symptoms. Somebody had mentioned their father had success raising their E2 with a DHEA supplement. So I have intentions to get my dad in to have DHEA checked.
Does...
Thanks for the response, Mountain Man. I agree with you. He's pretty stubborn in that he doesn't want to physically do anything to actually take care of the problem. I think the main problem is his diet and lifestyle. Because indeed his numbers don't look to bad and yet he has similar symptoms...
Hi guys could you please give input on my dad's results? He's 61. Is it safe for him to start TRT?
PSA 3.31 ng/ml Ref: 0.00-4.00
TSH 2.32 uIU/ml Ref: 0.5-2.5
FSH 7.19 mIU/ml Ref: 1.5-12.4
LH 5.12 mIU/ml Ref: 0.8-7.6
E2 8.3 pg/ml Ref: 7.6.-42.6 **Not sensitive...
By taking your blood test after your injection instead of right before, aren't you getting inaccurate blood levels? Wouldn't you want to see your lowest blood level point?
Wouldn't you want to take your blood test 23 hours, give or take an hour, after your injection on a daily protocol?
Interesting, so in your particular case, the theory of "less is more" on a daily injection protocol didn't work out that way for you? I considered 25mg daily as opposed to 22mg. This way my weekly cumulative would be the near the same as my e3.5d protocol. Landing me at 175 a week on daily as...
Hi guys,
I'm about 2 weeks in on my daily protocol now. 22mg daily. Total cumulative of about 154mg weekly. l was previously taking 90mg e3.5d with a total weekly cumulative of 180 mg.
On my 90mg e3.5d my total T was 1497. estradiol (not sensitive, it's unavailable in this country) was 64...
Ok that makes sense. Mine is very low at 13.8. I've changed from 90mg e35d. to ~22mg daily. Hoping this ties up some loose ends and it seems like folks have had success with a daily protocol. I look forward to it. Glad to see you're having success.
Ahhh, ok. That's why I've read mixed things...
It's not exactly a good thing that SHBG has risen, is it? Considering SHBG holds on to testosterone and doesn't allow it to be used by the body, right? Or am I misunderstanding? Isn't Albumin the good one which holds on to testosterone and releases it as needed?
I should had mentioned I have Kallmann syndrome. A pretty rare syndrome so not the average TRT patient considering I was born this way. Not sure if that's relevant. For how high my levels are, I don't feel abnormal at all. If anything I feel normal. I'll just need to be patient and give it more...
After some more consideration, I think I will take Vince Carter's advice and taper down this Friday morning when I'm due to inject. I'll start 90 mg's e3.5d and see how I'm feeling 6 weeks following that dosage change. I realized I had this irrational fear of changing my dose, simply because...
My libido is through the roof. When I have a girl with me, I'm having sex multiple times per day if she's up for it. I'll give it time, I'll pay close attention, and adjust accordingly. Simple to taper down if I notice negative side affects similar to low T
I think I may be effected differently. Regardless of my high T levels, I don't even get a morning erection every day. Some times I do. Not that frequently though, which is bizarre to me
I'm not taking an AI. Just fish oil, multi vitamin, panothenic acid and l-carnetine.
Defy would offer a consultation without me being in America? I had no idea. I'll look into it
Yep, feeling great. So I'm hesitant to fix something that's not broken. Since I'm 27 and have been going 13 years with piss poor TRT treatment from doctors uneducated on the subject in America. This is the first time in my life I've actually felt good! Anxiety is gone, depression is gone, just...
Feel pretty good! No complaints I don't really have any side effects. I have mild acne on my back and what I believe to be the occasional folliculitis on my forearm area but nothing I can't deal with and handle for the time being in exchange for feeling so much better over all.
The ampules I...
The lab was actually able to give me my lab results back in units of measurement that are more common in America. Here are the results of taking 100 mg test cyp e3.5d for 7 weeks. Blood drawn before I was due to inject. With these results the only side effect I have is mild acne on my back which...
This blood test reads for free testosterone, 2 ng/dL, however that converts to 20 pg/mL.
In my TRT notes, I have written down "20–29 years old 9.3–26.5 picograms/mililiter (pg/mL)" (I'm 27)
So I'm actually in the normal range for my free testosterone levels, aren't I?
Alright fellas. So this is bizzare. I need to look closer at it. I was able to send the clinic money and they completed the albumin and SHBG using the same blood sample. I attached those results to the same image I posted previously for easy comparison. I'll need to take a closer look at my...
