I'm almost 6 weeks into an 8 week run at 15mg. I would say I don't FEEL different, but I look different. No weight loss, but I'm definitely seeing better either gains or definition. My wife says so too, so it's not just confirmation bias staring back from the mirror. I'll take 6 weeks off...
I've been on TRT for four years. All this time, I've never gotten the libido benefits, real energy, etc., that others report. I've been on 120mg a week split into two injections. I was on HCG for years, ran out and didn't get more and noticed zero difference, so I'm not doing that anymore...
Well said. Exactly. AI (low e2), no AI (high e2), HCG, no HCG, numbers above range, numbers well within range, high DHEA, low DHEA, no one could find anything wrong with the rest of my numbers, and still zero libido without the Tadalafil. I imagine there are factors no one has even identified...
I should add that TRT caused me a significant lack of sensitivity issue (unless the timing is coincidental) and the Tadalafil has helped some with that as well. Not completely, but enough to make it work out ok.
Oh yeah, I spent three years with great numbers, and no libido. Getting good numbers means you have good numbers and little more than that. Wasn't until I ditched the HCG and added Tadalafil that I finally started feeling more like I ought to.
To be honest, erections were never the problem (I never technically would have said I had ED), I just wasn't motivated. Libido was the problem. I don't know anything about how Tadalafil works other than it raises nitric oxide, but I have a theory. My suspicion is that at least 50% of libido...
I had a similar reaction to TRT. Felt nominally better, but not fantastic, and no libido, despite fantastic numbers. AI, no AI, HCG, no HCG. I finally decided to try something I'd seen, and took the money I was spending on AI and HCG and put it towards liquid tadalafil. My wife and I are...
Don't see the word "hematocrit" anywhere in that study. It would be of interest to know what kinds of protocols are used in Europe and how they compare to in the US.
Yeah, you're not likely to lose more than water weight and maybe 3-4 pounds in three weeks if that.
Check out this short article:
Effect of low-carbohydrate diets high in either fat or protein on thyroid function, plasma insulin, glucose, and triglycerides in healthy young adults.
The...
Was on it for all that time, gut flora changes in a couple of days, it's really a non-issue. Companies who sell you probiotics for a small fortune would love for you to think otherwise. I've been carnivore since last July. That means no plant based foods whatsoever. I'm fine. As for...
The only thing that's ever worked for me was a strict keto diet with macro limits (lost 75 pounds between June and Thanksgiving 2017). There's a Facebook group called Ketogains where people are having tremendous success doing what you want to do by following calculated macros and lifting. I...
I went from total T of 200 to total T of over 1000 on TRT. Lost zero pounds. I lost nothing until I switched to a keto diet several years later. That causal mechanism doesn't appear to be universal.
Very interesting, I just hope that people don't take away from this that fixing hormone levels exogenously will then necessarily reduce cancer risk. It's much more likely that the causes of the low hormone levels are also the causes of the higher cancer risk, and addressing those would have...
Thanks. My last labs mine was literally at the exact top of the range. But, my total T was too. I think free T was 20. I wonder if this could be part of my problem. I don't feel like this is working for me like it does for others...
Just got my labs back with some surprises. It's two weeks before my followup appointment with Defy and I'm not quite sure what to do.
My DHEA-S was low when I started with them three months ago and I've been on a quarter of a sublingual troche (25mg) morning and evening. Now my DHEA-S is...
Hopefully this isn't too stupid a question, but when I look up L-Arginine to buy it (Bulk Supplements) I see:
L-Arginine Base Powder
L-Arginine a-Ketoglutarate
L-Arginine HCL Powder
Is there any way to know which one of these is the best one to get? Thanks!
Hey guys. After waiting six months for my doctor to be satisfied with my estrogen/estradiol numbers, I'm finally getting started. He tried me on a compounded topical that didn't seem to do much of anything except make things worse. So yesterday he wrote me a script for 12 ml of 100mg/ml, .5...
James, do you know the URL for that site? I'm very interested in this as I have the thyroid/adrenal thing and my doctor had me taking 50mg of DHEA. Thanks!
