So I am changing from 1 injection of 180 mg per week going to two injections. I was previously using a 3cc syringe. I now purchased a 1 cc syringe. My plan is to inject 2 x per week for a total of 140mg. Would I inject 35 cc twice per week?
The testosterone vial I have is 1ml 200mg.
I am going to switch from once per week injection using 25 G 1 inch needle to twice per week. I am looking at the 30G 1inch needle by Easy Touch. I was surprised to find a 30G 1 inch long. Has anyone had any experience using this needle?
So I went to urologist for vasectomy consultation (still not sure whether I am going to do it). Prior to doc coming in the Intake nurse asked me questions about my medical history and medications, which I had listed Testosterone and Anastrozole (0.25mg once per week). She looked completely...
I was listening to a podcast with Dr. Tami Meraglia. During the podcast Dr. Tami mentioned that instead of Anastrozole she would consider giving men Progesterone since it helps stop conversion of T to E2. Also, said Progesterone replacement in men helps with irritability.
Anybody taking...
On the T and I am done with having kids. The wife stopped using birth control a few months ago and is now optimizing her hormones. We went back to condoms....boy do they suck. The wife mentioned the BIG V again, which I have been adamantly opposed against for the following reasons:
1. I've...
Below is an excerpt of my wife's blood work which includes hormone panel including Thyroid. She is 43 and stopped taking birth control pills approximately 8 to 12 weeks ago. Any thoughts/takeaways?
I got my first follow-up blood work since starting TRT on March 15th and would appreciate any thoughts/insights.
To get an idea of where I started see posts #43, #44, and #61 in:

I have been on TRT for 8 weeks now and due to have my follow-up labs at week 12. However, last week I was able to get some labs completed and all looked good except for ALT and AST are now high, out of range. In all my prior blood work AST and ALT have always been in range. The only thing I am...
About 5 weeks ago I started taking T-Cyp, Metformin, and once per week 0.25 mg of an AI. Prior to taking any of those medications I always had regular (at least once per day) bowel movements. I've noticed since starting TRT, etc. that bowel movements are irregular, a little more difficult, and...
Today was my 4th injection of TRT. Still not feeling anything difference as far as mood, energy, etc. First injection was done in the doctor's office where they showed me how to inject. Since I want to inject on my own they recommended injecting into QUAD with 25 gauge 1 inch needle. Nurse did...
Prior to starting TRT two weeks ago I lost several pounds over several weeks. I was averaging about 1 pound per week due to eating clean and going to gym a few days per week. The week I started TRT I dialed in the nutrition even further by tracking macros in Fitness Pal and added a couple of...
I started TRT for first time 3 days ago (Wednesday). Doc gave me .25 of an AI to take 1x per week starting three days after first injection which was today (Saturday). It has been on my mind that I need to take my AI ever since I got the injection.
I awoke today with a sort of pulling feeling...
I was reading posts on various forums and came across several people that noted after approximately 5 years the initial benefits felt by TRT such as increased libido and energy diminished significantly. Some posters noted they are now taking Cialis, Viagra, etc. and are looking to stop TRT...
So I finally decided to make an appointment with an experienced TRT Doctor (Dr. Osborn). Blood tests were ordered but the estradiol test was not the sensitive type. I inquired why and was told sensitive was not necessary. I have an appointment in a few weeks. I've heard/read a lot of good things...
So go to a dermatologist to get a full body skin check. She looks at back of my head and sees that I am................losing my hair. Whew that was hard to say. She asks how long has that been going on, I respond about 4 years now. Doc says how about a script of Propecia. You take 1 mg per day...
I contacted Dr. Osborn's office. They market themselves more in Anti-Aging category versus TRT, How they explain it is TRT is part of Anti-Aging. They charge about $1,000 for initial blood work and 1 - 1.5 hour consult. Doc goes through blood work and will make recommendations on supplements...
I see discountlabs offer two different tests for Testosterone. A $29 version and $79 version. Historically, I have gotten my labs done at Quest. Wondering which of the two tests offered by discountlabs would give the most accurate reading.
A couple of weeks ago, I went to my Primary Doctor for physical. I complained of following symptoms:
Fatigue, Irritability, Moments of Sadness, Anxiety, etc. I asked about having T checked. After some push back the doc agreed to run only Total T, which came back at 266. The docs assistant...
I was just listening to a recent podcast with Dr. Crisler. He mentioned ideally he prefers men to be on T-Gel along with a daily shot of HCG or EOD.
Is there anyone in this forum that is currently on a gel and seeing good results? Also, anyone know what the cost of Gel through Defy?
This forum has been very educational. For someone just learning about TRT (not yet on it but considering), which two books would you recommend they read on the subject?
I want to my doctor for yearly physical. Prior to physical blood test was ordered for CBC, Lipids, Metabolic Panel, etc. Everything looked good. I'm 46. At physical I complained of difficulty losing weight even though I am working out 4 to 5 days per week. I would not describe myself as fat but...
Fact or Fiction:
Seminal fluid will be reduced when on TRT?
It highly recommended that you use HCG in combination with TRT in order to avoid testicle shrinkage?
Penis sensitivity is reduced when on TRT?
I appreciate anyone's insight.
Thank You!
