Good question...I have no idea lol. I just know I am in range. Good enough for me I guess? I am assuming higher numbers are good. People have always said I look at least ten years younger than my age. :)
Defy had a special for follow up labs and I got a free Igf-1 test. Results great: 205
Range for my age is: 67-205 and my age is 48 soon to be 49. This is the first time I have ever had it tested.
I suspect I was on the low end if not low T (I consider low t anything below 400), all of my life. Finally in 2013 at the age of 44 it seemed to have reached such a low level I could not ignore it anymore. My low energy, lack of ability to put on muscle, brain fog and low libido became too much...
My dose is a tiny 0.05 mg. Any more than that and I am crashing! The reality is some people are much more sensitive than others to the effects of anastrazole. I am one of the very sensitive ones obviously.
My total dosage for 1 week is: 0.15 mg.
Hello all, I am looking for a new PCP in my area and saw that this MD is on my approved insurance list. Does anyone have experience with him? He seems progressive and does deal with anti-aging, and yet is a family Dr. as well. Essentially, I would likely find a PCP who will not be averse to my...
Thanks everyone ! Thankful everyday for health and grace received, and I wish for all the same here. Hopefully more and more men daily are tuning in to sites like excel male, and getting educated about TRT and progressive protocols.
3 but it does increase my estradiol levels somewhat. If I did not take HCG I would likely not need anastrazole. I take a very low dose: 0.05 mg x3 per week. But the benefits for me outweigh that one effect.
Update on this year’s physical for Defy: Much less complicated then last year’s. I used the Defy form and edited out the header, and went to a urgent care clinic and asked for a Sports physical. Was in and out in 20 minutes and cost was 70$. I have been feeling great on my continued protocol...
It's been a wild and dramatic ride here to say the least. Friends of mine being rescued, cars and homes flooded, houses across the road from me getting swamped. I was very fortunate and escaped flooding of my house as it was on higher ground than those across from me. I was stuck at work for 84...
Hallandale: I have preferred to get HCG from them because they divide it in two separate bottles 5000iu and 6000iu. The last order a few weeks ago I was informed by Defy that they we're moving locations and as of that time they are not able to deliver to Texas due to license renewal. That's all...
I tried DIM only and it did absolutely nothing to lower my estradiol. The capsules of anastrozole I receive from the compound pharmacy do contain DIM. Other than that the bottle of DIM I have leftover is sitting in the cabinet not being used. Didn't work for me, but maybe for others it has a...
Got my sensitive estradiol labs back the other day: 30. Yesterday I had my follow up with Nurse Jill and it looks like I have found a sweet spot with the anastrozole and estradiol finally. I will continue with the low dose: 0.05 mg of anastrozole MWF on injection days.
Ok. That makes sense. Thanks for the feedback. In this case, the Dr. Would need to use clinical judgement. What always surprises me are the Docs who DO base it on numbers only.
I came across a lab in Florida that has very low ranges for testosterone in men. Males: 20-49 yrs. Normal range: 160-726
Has anyone else ever come across such low ranges from a lab? 160 would be low for a 120 year old man !
So far mine has not normalized and I don't know if it ever will, but hopefully at some point it does. I've been in TRT about 3 years. I do a blood donation about every 3 months now.
I ejaculated the morning before a PSA test about a year ago and it raised it 1.6 for a total of 3.3 from a re-test without ejaculation of 1.7 after Dr. Saya told me to abstain from ejaculation for 24 hours at least the next test.
So in summary: Ejaculation morning of produced result of: 3.3...
When my Hematocrit goes above 53 my BP gets higher. After I donate blood my BP lowers. What's not to like aside from the iron issues with too frequent donations?
Thanks for the info sea. What clinic did you go to? I will never return to that minute clinic, or any minute clinic, for that matter, for any future need I may have. Lots of other choices out there in my area.
I agree completely Coast. It's just I feel my odds would be better with a male PCP. But I am certainly open to a female PCP who is versed or open to me being a patient of Defy.
Ok. So, get the physical and no need to show a CDL license, because that's what your trying to do. I'll check it out more when I have time. The whole intrastate versus interstate and the Docs getting confused about it is confusing to me as well !
Thanks for the info Vince. I am looking for a change anyway from my current PCP. She is a female and very uninformed about TRT. She referred me before to a urologist she knows who only prescribes androgel. So, I never went to him as I have no interest in that high cost, often ineffective method...
