New Labs - Still Lacking Libido

And I think if he brings the DHT up, then I understand that it can help also help limit his E2 production at the same time. Two birds with one stone.

New Labs - Still Lacking Libido

My last DHT level tested at 114 ng/dl, and Defy was happy with it there for libido purposes. You might want to try and bump yours up a bit, but you'd probably need to use testosterone cream on your scrotum to make that happen since the injections aren't getting you there.

And yes, wholeheartedly agree on the diet.

New Labs - T through the Roof!

My current protocol has 140 mg/week of T Cypionate. Given my DHT level with one click per day is pretty high, my guess would be that two clicks would knock it sky high. What is your thought by changing to this type of protocol? The extra DHT to knock down the E2?

New Labs - T through the Roof!

No, it worked out to 128 mg/week. It was .32/ml of 200 mg/ml of T cyp twice per week.

New Labs - T through the Roof!

Yes, I supplement a few times a week with DHEA. Finished my phone consultation with Defy. No changes to the protocol except a lower dosage of AI on an "as needed" basis. Levels are skewed on the testing by taking the cream a few hours before the labs, so next time I'll skip to see the trough...

New Labs - T through the Roof!

I feel better than I felt on the previous protocol. I am low SHBG, so the everyday shots seemed like an improvement, although my guess is that I am shooting my T way up each morning with the cream and then having it come back down, which may not be best for E2 control. With that said, I would...

New Labs - T through the Roof!

Hello all: Just received back my updated labs and wanted to get some thoughts. Last labs were on 1/29/20 after 6 weeks of my first protocol (I know, I jumped the gun a bit): T cyp 200 mg/ml - 0.32md IM/SQ twice a week (3.5 days) HCG 6,000 IU - 40 units SQ twice a week (3.5 days) Total...

Can increasing HCG take the place of TRT temporarily?

For what it's worth, I was concerned about running out of testosterone a few weeks ago, and Defy recommended that I take 300iu of HCG daily, or 500iu every other day, if I did until my refill came in. Granted, however, this was intended to be only a temporary fix until my refill came in (i.e...

In what range do you try and keep your E2?

    Tadalafil - Nodules

Out of curiosity, what aspect of my protocol would cause you to create so much E2? The HCG? Too much testosterone? All of the above?

    Tadalafil - Nodules

Testosterone Cypionate - 200 mg/ml - .10 ml every day/SQ Testosterone Cream - 50 mg/ml - 1 click on the scrotum every day HCG - 150 every day/SQ Anastrozole - 0.125 mg twice per week I've been on this protocol about 2 months now. Testosterone cream was added at that time in the hope of...

    Tadalafil - Nodules

The thought has crossed my mind that it's low E2 related, but I am still in the process of trying to get dialed-in and don't have my next labs until a month from now. I do take .125 mg of Arimidex twice a week because I was having high E2 issues about 2 months ago, but I wanted to get my next...

    Tadalafil - Nodules

Hi all: I have been taking 2.5mg of daily Tadalafil for about 3 weeks now. Side effects haven't been too bad, but I have noticed a few. Namely: 1. Pain in both elbows. I notice it mostly when I put my elbows on a table, a bit of a sharp pain. 2. A nodule on my left wrist just below my...

    Citrulline - Cumulative Effects?

Are the effects of Citrulline in increasing NO cumulative, such that the longer you supplement with it the better the results? Does it build up in your body to a therapeutic level if you continue to supplement with it, or is there a limited period of time that each dose will have an impact no...

Advice on stopping or reducing AI?

Do you feel good? I'm a newbie, but from what I've read many would consider your E2 range to be in the "sweet spot." Seems to me that if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Daily Cialis - Will Congestion Go Away?

Well, that's encouraging that the congestion went away. Maybe I just need to stay on it a bit longer. Do you not have stomach issues on the 2.5 mg daily dose? Good results with the 2.5 mg daily dose?

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

Thanks. Yeah, I was a little hesitant with the weekly increase in HCG (I had actually thought we might even remove it entirely), but they told me that in their experience you won't get any benefit from anything less than 150 IU per day and that it does typically have a big impact on...

Daily Cialis - Will Congestion Go Away?

I tried taking tadalafil 2.5 mg daily, but by about day 5 the congestion was too much for me and I stopped. I am thinking about splitting the pills in half and trying again, maybe working my way up if the side effects aren't too bad. I see that a lot of people claim that the muscle pain side...

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

After speaking with Defy, my protocol has been adjusted to the following: Testosterone cypionate - 200 mg/ml - 0.10 ml daily HCG - 150 IU daily Testosterone cream 50 mg/ml - 1 click daily (can move up to 2 clicks in 4 weeks). I have also been prescribed Anastrozole 0.125 mg to be used perhaps...

    Stopping TRT

What is your rationale for coming off TRT for 4-6 weeks every year? Is that one 4-6 stretch or is it split into smaller time periods? Do you feel a difference when you come off?

    Stopping TRT

If one is taking testosterone and HCG and wanted to stop treatment altogether, could he essentially stop cold turkey since the HCG has helped maintain his natural production? Not considering it myself at this time, but curious as to how that would work.

Sorry, I meant HCG, not HGH.

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

Thanks. Do you use HGH as well? I opted for it to keep some of my own production and because I had read that it helps with libido in some, but then later read about the downside of some guys having trouble keeping estradiol levels in check with it.

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

Wow, that’s quite a difference. Yes, the 2017 test was during a peak time (8 a.m.). That does help put things into perspective a bit and maybe explain why I feel the way I do.

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

Thank you very much. What size needle do you use for daily dosing? Do you do IM or SubQ? I will definitely look into the Free E2 test. At this point, I’ve just been going with the tests recommended by Defy.

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

An additional follow-up question. I had some bloodwork done in December 2017 before I noticed any signs of testosterone issues (good sexual function, average libido, mood seemed to be ok). The doctor tested only total testosterone and free testosterone, which came in at 420 ng/dl and 99.1...

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

Awesome info! Thank you! Do you think that the more frequent dosing would bring down the estrogen level without use of an AI? The estrogen level where it currently lies has just killed my libido and erection quality.

6 Week Blood Test Results - Low SHBG/High Estrogen

Hello all: I have been on the TRT train for 7 weeks now after a few months of research (much of which was done on this fantastic website!). I am 43 and for about the last year and a half I have been experiencing symptoms (lethargic, weight gain, crappy erections, low libido, loss of muscle...
