    How to increase DHT?

You can try Butea Superba. Some claim that it raises DHT and I have found it to sometimes create the affects described for DHT, however I find it a bit inconsistent.

Anti-inflammatory 20mg/day Rosuvastatin reduced C-reactive protein, heart attacks, strokes in people with normal LDL but elevated C-reactive protein

If you want to dig deeper into CRP I would start by listening to minutes 25-30 of Ben Greenfield's recent podcast with Dr. Matt Dawson. He says the CRP as typically measured does not correlate well as a predictor of diseases mediated by inflammation but a version called methylated CRP does...

Anti-inflammatory 20mg/day Rosuvastatin reduced C-reactive protein, heart attacks, strokes in people with normal LDL but elevated C-reactive protein

First, there is no reason to think that even if aspirin increases risk of bleeding (not necessarily actual bleeding) or lesions that it is clinically significant given the millions of people who take it on a regular basis (including me). Second, Rosuvastatin is far from risk-free. I had...

Anti-inflammatory 20mg/day Rosuvastatin reduced C-reactive protein, heart attacks, strokes in people with normal LDL but elevated C-reactive protein

Lots of safer things are anti-inflammatory such as aspirin and reducing the causes of inflammation.

Test P improved TRT, libido still at 0 – what next?

Deprenyl used to be big in the anti-aging world. You can get it from the Indian suppliers like alldaychemist. It primarily blocks the enzyme which breaks down dopamine however, as with anything, do your own research and see if it has good risk/reward to try for you.

Test P improved TRT, libido still at 0 – what next?

You might also look into Deprenyl (selegiline) which works on a pathway connected to dopamine IIRC

Test P improved TRT, libido still at 0 – what next?

Thanks for the background. Most importantly, hang in there and keep trying things. Two things come to mind. You might at least have a conversation with a Hypnotherapist and see if they have any insights. Hypnosis might not reveal or resolve anything for you, but it might give you some insights...

Test P improved TRT, libido still at 0 – what next?

Prolactin, thyroid and salt are three other things to consider. You can slightly lower prolactin by taking a low (600mg or less) dose of Chasteberry every other day. Low thyroid can affect a lot of things. The book The Salt Fix discusses that low salt can lower libido. More generally, if you...

Several other ideas...DHEA is helpful for some people and if it is cheap and available where you are could be worth a try. Melanotan 2 and/or PT-141 is worth a try IMO since they work on a somewhat different pathway (the melanocortin system) than androgens. I agree that a lower dose of T is step...

Why Men Get an Enlarged Prostate and How to Treat BPH Symptoms

In the podcast linked below, Dr Gundry talks about the link between infection due to leaky gut and enlarged prostate. He says he fixed his BPH by fixing his gut issues. Most of mainstream medicine seems to still be very far behind on the topic of leaky gut so it is reasonable to think Dr. Gundry...

Yes, a man in his 80s can still have good muscle mass

In fairly healthy countries (e.g. Italy, Spain, until recently Brazil, Argentina and others) it is common for women in their 50s and sometimes 60s to have the body of what we in the US would consider to be a super-hot 20 year old. That has probably been the case for much of human existence.

Traveling and will not have access to refrigeration so no HCG. Dosing questions.

HCG can apparently go for many days w/o refrigeration (there is another thread here about that) so if you're near the end of a vial, you could just take it with you and it would probably be fine. Otherwise, I would not increase anything (that is more likely to cause issues of some sort) and just...

Testosterone propionate supposedly the best ester?

That suggests some sort of issue with excess cortisol. You may also want to look into timing your carbs around activity to maximize NIMGU (Non-insulin mediated glucose uptake.)

BPH at young age related to TRT? Advice needed...

A couple of ideas for you...if TRT is involved in your BPH it is probably via DHT so you might get that checked, HOWEVER it is much more likely that your BPH is due to some sort of infection, especially given your UTI issues. DR. Gundry recently talked about this on episode 299 IIRC of his...

DHT Cream Plus Testosterone Propionate = Major Libido Boost

I really appreciate your citizen science on this. I think the issue with authenticity is that some people seem to be high-responders to DHT compounds (like you clearly are) and others are non-responders or negative responders. So, if someone was using it for the first time they might not get a...

    Should I switch to Defy?

I've been very pleased with Defy and have nothing but good things to say about them, however as many others have chronicled on this forum, getting "dialed in" can mean many things and is often a lengthy process of trial and error. An experienced, specialized group like Defy could make that...

Do I Really Need TRT? Numbers Seem OK.

I have t low E2 also so I am trying to raise it myself. Some things that can lower estrogen are common supplements like zinc, so I would review what you're taking and see if anything blocks the aromatase enzyme. While it's possible your issues are driven by T, going with TRT can cause other...

Do I Really Need TRT? Numbers Seem OK.

What issues are you trying to address? Self-managing your hormones if you are in a good place to start with is generally a bad idea.

    PT-141 Bremelanotide

I'm 63 and no I've never used B/Tmix, but I don't think anything comes close to them. They are in their own league from what I've read, although there is the potential for psychological dependency. I would say that PT-141 makes about a 10-20% improvement and took the quantity, quality and speed...

BPH Treatments for Better Erectile Function

It doesn't sound like any of the "treatments" remove the cause. In episode 299 of his podcast, Dr. Gundry says that there is emerging evidence that BPH is caused by a bacterial infection that stems from intestinal permeability (AKA "leaky gut") and that he fixed his own BPH by fixing leaky gut...

    PT-141 Bremelanotide

I take around 300mcg twice a week and I think it is one of the best erection promoters there is. Other than slight flushing (which goes away quickly), pronounced tanning affect if one is in the sun, and the need to be in fairly good erectile health in the first place, I think it is a must-use...

    Best Sleep Supplements

So far I can say that it helps for at least 6 days, primarily by helping me fall asleep much faster and to stay asleep better. I'm not injecting more frequently due to the potential for pituitary issues from the long-acting secretagouges, but there are Doctors (e.g. Dr. Yurth I believe) who are...

    Drilling down on recomp

"the only thing I can see left when it comes to LBM retention during a cut". As Dr. Fung says, the Holy Grail of fat loss is maintaining or increasing metabolic rate. You may want to consider doing lower cals 2 or 3 days per week and normal cals the other days. Also, consider walking with a...

    Best Sleep Supplements

Something I recently restarted is CJC1295 (w/DAC) which is a growth hormone secretagouge, and it has massively helped my sleep. I take it once every two weeks at around 300-500mcg. It reminded me that growth hormone is well known to cause drowsiness but to help sleep overall, so it could be...

    DHT and Prostate Health

I'm curious if you find the gel to have a better or different affect from DHT-like compounds like proviron? Many people seem to get a panacea of benefit from DHT-related things (and I'm happy for you if you're one of them) but at least at low doses, I have never felt any benefit, but I haven't...

    Initial reaction?

As I always say in situations like this, your tiredness could be due to a multitude of things, many of which are totally unrelated to testosterone or related hormones. You could have picked up some sort of infection or have mold exposure, you could be under-eating or over-training. Going too low...

Osteoarthritis and adding nandrolone to TRT

We may be saying the same thing here. Many forward-thinking clinicians (e.g. Dr. Yurth) are coming around to the view that osteo-arthritis has an RA-like component which is what I was referring to regarding low-level food allergies. To further confuse matters, RA is often not-really...
