I use 28g 1/2” needles and they’re very fragile. I wouldn’t want to go smaller and longer.

    What was your protocol like?

Blood tests look ok but i'm not

Assuming the lab didn’t botch the job you’re at the very top of the range. Even with really high SHBG I doubt testosterone is your problem. Is there any way to get a full blood panel done so everyone on here has a better idea of what’s going on?

tell me if your experience has been the same

So far I’m a month in and meh. I don’t feel much different but I plan on giving it at least a year. Following to see other’s experiences.

    started TRT feel great but....

Which is weird because I’m a month in and while I’d say my brain fog, joint pain and mental clarity is better, I still feel pretty low energy and have the same or less libido as before. Looking forward to seeing where my E2 is... I suspect it’s high.

    Bloods back...E2 down....but....

Sounds like you never should have started TRT in the first place. Best of luck moving forward.

New to TRT, Libido & Erection Strength

I’m doing 150mg/week, MWF injections. Based off of some of the things I’ve read on here that may be too high, and I haven’t taken an AI yet and don’t plan to until my labs are done. I’m 5’6” and 170lbs, fairly muscular but not lean by any means. I’ll follow up in this thread down the road.

    EW's TRT Journey

Mid day Wed is actually really easy for me. I work 5 minutes from home and eat lunch at home several times a week. If I worked further from home I don’t think I’d consider it.

New to TRT, Libido & Erection Strength

I'm on week 3 and haven't had any of these "I'm a teenager again" moments. If anything my libido has dropped and mild ed has surfaced, which I've never really experienced before. I'm sticking it out and sticking with the protocol for another month before pulling labs. Looking forward to getting...

    EW's TRT Journey

Yeah, I contemplated EOD but I think MWF will be easier and have spaced them out as much as possible so it's Monday morning, Wed afternoon, and late Friday night to try to minimize the gap as much as possible. I really appreciate your response. I've been trying to educate myself but there's a...

    EW's TRT Journey

I'm 3 weeks in at this point and feeling good and bad. Good: Brain fog is greatly improved, joints aren’t aching nonstop, sleep seems to be a bit better, and maybe a tiny bit more energy. Bad: Feels like my twig n berries have deflated and I’m experiencing mild ED. Certainly none of the “I...

    EW's TRT Journey

Background on me. I'm 38yo, married, 4 kids, work 50+ hrs a week, wife runs a business from home at night/weekends, and all the normal stresses of family life apply. I will say that I have a great wife and kids and my relationship with them is stellar so even though they are work, it's not the...

    Has anyone ever regretted TRT?

What's your SHBG level? What % body fat do you have? Glad to hear that you'd feeling dialed in!

Highest numbers of total T and still be with in healthy range.

I'm assuming we're talking trough levels right before an injection? Wouldn't peak levels be close to 2000 for some guys?

Any new studies on low SHBG?

What range for SHBG would be considered low? I've only had mine measured once but it was 19 which from what I gather is fairly low.

Updated Labs Looks Good - I think.

Is this common to need E levels close to or less than SHBG? My SHBG is 19 and I'm starting with Defy this week. It seems like getting E levels dialed for the individual is at least as important as getting T levels up.

    Starting with Defy, Advice?

After being told by several doctors that my 307 Total T count is in the "normal" range (I'm 38yo and very active) I'm going to bite the bullet and work with Defy. What questions should I have and is there anything I should be aware of? I'm trying to educate myself as much as possible through...

Results of Bloodwork - Help Me Make Sense of Them

Sleep study came back. I have mild sleep apnea. 18 ahi, 87% o2. I have a CPAP now that I still haven't been able to fall asleep on for more than a few minutes at a time. Hopefully I get used to it and can sleep through the night. My doctor told me that the "normal range" was 240-1000 and since...

Results of Bloodwork - Help Me Make Sense of Them

I'm scheduled for tomorrow night and results should come quickly. According to the initial consultation I have narrow nasal passages and a cramped palate that would predispose me to sleep apnea. Both my parents have it, and despite me not being obese or heavily overweight, I know that I have...

    TRT specialist in Utah

I just figured I would ask given there are select few doctors that actually know what they are talking about which would be nice from a cost standpoint since I already pay for insurance. I do under stand that most doctors aren't going to be a resource for me. I looked at Defy's website. Any...

    TRT specialist in Utah

My insurance covers Innermountain Health and I live in South Salt Lake City. I'm looking for a Dr. that is knowledgable and will help me develop a solid protocol. I want to inject at home, especially since I have low SHBG 19 (13-71) and will likely need to inject 3x a week. I also don't want to...

Results of Bloodwork - Help Me Make Sense of Them

The weight gain despite being fairly active, the low energy, the fatigue, the brain fog, etc has been what motivated me to see my family Dr. who ordered the labs and is looking at them. I'm holding off going to an endo until the sleep study is done and I have labwork done a few months after...

Results of Bloodwork - Help Me Make Sense of Them

Thanks for the encouragement! My family history has diabetes and while not technically pre-diabetic, I show all the symptoms of it and metabolic/insulin issues. I'm assuming if I go on TRT and start an aggressive protocol of EOD but lean out and my health improves (hopefully my sleep will be...

Results of Bloodwork - Help Me Make Sense of Them

Yes, TRT is absolutely on the table. I just want to make sure I'm educated and doing everything I can first before taking the plunge. I'm still learning and if I do take the plunge want to make sure I'm on an appropriate protocol and the hassle, expense, dedication, etc is worth it and safe.

I'm 38yo and have a 5yo, 4yo, 3yo and one due in December. I'm 100% ok with nuking the shit out of my reproductive capabilities and will be getting snipped and my wife will be getting her tubes tied. We're ridiculously fertile which is strange considering my health. Both sides of my family have...

    SHBG confusion

I'm 38yo now. Trying to learn everything I can. All I know is I feel like trash. I would love to avoid having to inject more than twice a week though if possible.

    SHBG confusion

Mine appears very low. Is there anything specific I can do to raise it or is that just my genetics at play? Sex Hormone Binding Globulin 19 (13-71) I'm considering going on TRT but want to learn more before I dedicate myself to it.
