    Injection site reaction

When I used the VG site with T. cyp, I got a golf ball sized lump that lasted 2 weeks. Along with the pain, redness, itching, and swelling below the site for a good week +. I put hcg in the other side and didn't notice a thing. 1/2" 27g for both. 0.5ml hcg on one side and 0.45ml test on the...

    Injection site reaction

Are you doing that sweeping motion with the needle inserted down to the hub, of pulling in back out a bit first? I am a little worried about trying it on my abdomen, given the reaction at other sites. There and the quads are spots I haven't tried. Seems like these would be more sensitive...

    Injection site reaction

How slow is slow? I don't slam it in, but maybe I could be going slower. I'm supposed to be using 0.45ml, but have reduced the dose to 0.25 to see is a lower volume makes a difference, too.

    Injection site reaction

It's been about 5 weeks on TRT. It doesn't seem to be a true allergic reaction. More like a local sensitivity, it seems. No broader systemic effects. Good to hear about possibly adjusting to the oil! I hope it's the case for me, too.

    Injection site reaction

Is it more likely to be the oil, or the additives (preservative, solubilizer), with these symptoms do you think? I was thinking about asking for something completely different, like enanthate, with different oil and no benzyl benzoate to see how it goes.

    Injection site reaction

I have been having a few bad injection site reactions and looking for ideas on how to mitigate the symptoms. I've read through many of the threads here, but wondering if my particular symptoms will sound familiar to anyone and what the fix was. Every injection, using 1/2" 27g on delts, dorsal...

    Birth control options

My wife, 40 yo, has been on oral BCPs for ~20 yrs. She is interested in optimizing her hormones, but has been told she must be off the pill first. Are the hormone containing IUDs okay to use while with HRT/TRT in women? It doesn't seem like the low dose of local intrauterine hormone would...

Clomid vs. Testosterone results, all other things equal

That Patrick Arnold post is interesting. Thanks! http://patrickarnoldblog.com/serms-as-an-alternative-to-testosterone-replacement-therapy/ "SERMs may act as estrogen antagonists in the brain and it is well known that many of the effects of testosterone upon libido and mood are due to its local...

Clomid vs. Testosterone results, all other things equal

All things equal, (if T, E, and SHBG levels are the same) is there any reason that a patient on Clomiphene vs. Testosterone should experience different results? Is there more to it than the levels and ratios that result from either protocol? And if so, any insight into what and why? The reason...

Anyone know when Defy will be open? Out of Meds and need refill

When I call their main number a man answers and says it's the wrong number. Tried twice. Maybe the phone got forwarded wrong or something. Hope they are all doing well. Was hoping they would call in a script I could fill locally. Do they do that sort of thing?

30 days on Clomid, DHEA, and DIM- Feeling Good

Curious to hear thoughts on these latest labs. Any thoughts before I review them with Defy? I had my blood work checked again, now 8 mos. after beginning this protocol. T is up, but so are E2 and SBGH. This is the first time I have had a progesterone checked and not sure what to make of it...

Check out Alex Viada's stuff on concurrent strength and endurance training. He has a book called Hybrid Athlete and a website at completehumanperformance.com. Some good podcast interviews with him out there, too.

Need a cheaper way to run my protocol

Called Defy and had my meds. changed to tablet form. Now my cost is about 1/3 of what it was. Really helpful crew over there.

Need a cheaper way to run my protocol

I've been getting pretty good results from the protocol that Defy has me on, but the cost seems way out of line compared to other pricing I've seen. It's mostly the clomiphene/DIM, which is costing me $6.50/day. I'm considering switching providers or even ordering from a Canadian pharmacy...

30 days on Clomid, DHEA, and DIM- Feeling Good

Feeling pretty good :-). Staying lean, getting stronger, and have a bit more energy. All of this with new 70 hour work weeks and less sleep. Can't wait to see the difference when my schedule gets back to normal.

30 days on Clomid, DHEA, and DIM- Feeling Good

Just an update. After my 30 day labs, we doubled the clomiphene/DIM dose to 12.5 mg/200 mg BID, kept the DHEA troche at 25mg BID, and added anastrozole 0.25mg QOD . Four weeks after the adjustment my labs were: Testosterone, Serum 886 ng/dL Free Testosterone...

T levels down 50% over last 18 months

Vergel, Sleep is okay most nights. Once every week or two I'll be up early (3-4 AM) and unable to fall back asleep. Occurring a little more often than it used to. Weight is the same, just at a worse body comp.. 180 @ ~15 % now. Had been at a consistent ~8-10 for the last 9 years...

T levels down 50% over last 18 months

Yeah, but not by that much, right? Maybe a 17% swing according to the studies I've read. And they say the fluctuation is less and less with each decade. Couldn't hurt to get an early AM one for comparison though. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/j.1464-410X.2007.07022.x/pdf
