If dht wasnt the main culprit, finasteride wouldnt shrink the prostate.. but finasteride does shrink the prostate by reducung dht. If something other than dht is responsible, why is the prostate still shrinking with finasteride? If something else was at play, finasteride would not work?

I dont know how testosterone reduces the size of the prostate. It is abundantly clear that dht plays a large role in BPH. Although perhaps it aids in those with prostate inflammation resulting from metabolic syndrom.

I know a few guys who had a mid life crisis after starting T and it destroyed their marriage. When they went off T and the “ high” wore off, they regretted their decision.

Obviously a topical finasteride application isnt systemic and therefore only affects the scalp. That said, does topical finateride even work ???!? Were there any studies? Finasteride actually works in the liver. How would a topical solution even be affective????

Interesting that some of you guys have very high natural T levels( 600’s), but lower free T due to high shgb. I would imagine that your hypothalamus senses free T is low and sends a strong signal to the testes to create higher T with the hopes of more free T ? I wonder if your shgb became lower...

Enclomiphene is different as it isnt an estrogen agonist like clomid is. Clomid is an anti estrogen at the hypothalimus but an estrogen agonist in other parts of the body.
