Eight Weeks into My Protocol - Feeling No Better

Splitting the 200 into 100 mg twice a week might be enough to lower e2 some since it's not that high. I'd do that and see how you feel in a few more weeks. So McClain is ur doctor?

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

He has them applying it twice a day if I understand correctly. That's why they say high free t all day and night. I'm curious too his opinions on frequency and dosing if doing injections is the only option your Dr can provide us. I think I'm his practice though he has no one on injections...

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

Thanks again to both doctors for responding to each other as well as us. A few questions for you both. I'm wondering if maybe the reasons Dr. Nichols sees no one with estradiol issues and Dr. Saya does is maybe because the topical cream Dr. Nichols uses helps increase dht enough that it offsets...

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

This thread is very informative. Love hearing feedback from different doctors. Dr. Nichols is there a cutoff that you feel is too high of a dose or free t levels that are too high or do you just believe in increasing until all symptoms are gone? Also looking forward to hearing what you have to...

Should We Be Managing Estradiol and Hematocrit in Men on Testosterone Replacement?

Very informative information Dr. Nichols. Glad to have you here! Are you saying running the normal free and total testosterone by labcorp isn't accurate enough for free t or isn't that a huge thing to worry about as long as the free testosterone levels are keep elevated?

Royal Men’s Medical destroyed my Estradiol!!! Beware!!

I think I remember correctly Nelson saying once that teen males can have estradiol in the 70-80s. If he could post a link to that article it would be interesting to read.

Estradiol in Men: Interview with Urology Professor Dr Ranjith Ramasamy

Dr. Saya I know you have said befere on here that you think 45-50 is the cutoff on the sensitive test where you above that feel it should be lowered. Do you still feel that way or if you had someone at 60 on sensitive test with no problems would you be ok with that long term. The confusion I...

Estradiol in Men: Interview with Urology Professor Dr Ranjith Ramasamy

Did you think his 1 mg of anastrozole for estradiol over 60 to be a bit high to start out. Varying frequency, dosage differences, and opinions on what levels to begin treating always are confusing considering every Dr has a totally different opinion and approach.

Estradiol in Men: Interview with Urology Professor Dr Ranjith Ramasamy

Great interview!!! One question is he saying that a ten to one ratio Is ideal for testosterone to estradiol? That seems really low?

Lab Results - Discussion of Free Estradiol

I find this to be very very interesting! It would be cool to have Dr. Saya comment of this too. Is it possible that those of twice weekly anastrozole actually have lower estradiol levels at peak and not trough because the anastrozole is peaking then?? If so would this mean we might be better...

    High Viamin B12

I don't really see the need to worry about it. Looking back at your previous blood test your h and h is staying about the same and you seem to be doing well and you are on metformen so the little extra b12 I can't see to be hurtfing you. If it would have elevated your h and h then I'd worry as...

It says it can't be taken orally though which I believe isn't true. I've taken 1200 mg orally for years and it has worked.

Ask The Urologist Anything (Dr Michael Rotman)

Thanks great answers! So I'm gathering you don't really feel there is an estradiol level that is considered unsafe in men? I know some doctors say that past a certain point no matter how the patient feels high or slightly high estradiol is unsafe for the prostate and could increase clotting risk.

Hi doctor. In response to ur reply about trough levels how often do you generally recommend patients inject? Looks good except for hemoglobin and hematocrit. If they get much higher you need to donate blood. Drinking lots of water and daily cardio should help some in that area if you aren't already. Hdl is a bit low but mine used to be also when my total cholesterol was as low as urs. I added a few...
