    Acne Three Weeks In

Thanks Madman. I do most of that already, but for the cod liver oil. Diet is clean, more of a paleo style with refined carbs and starch removed. What supplements would you recommend in regards to liver health?

    Acne Three Weeks In

I am on the following protocol from Defy for my low T. Been on it 3-4 weeks. Everything is going dandy, but for the development of acne in between my pecs, on my cheek and temples of my scalp. I have already searched the board, so I am just checking in to see if there is any new insight into the...

    Post-Injection Pain Thigh

Hey guys. I pinned this morning with a 27g 1/2" Easy Touch Insulin syringe in the vastus lateralis. Things went fine with the HCG (right leg), but with the test (left leg) I felt a little pain during the injection. Massaged it - went on about my day. At 5 pm I stood up and noticed my left leg...

The Defy Physical: Always an Adventure

Cripes - what a pain. All you were asking for was a physical. Thankfully my PCP is cool about the whole thing. She just told me to watch my Hct and looked over my previous labs showing low T.

RBC, Hemoglobin and Hematocrit High - Off TRT- Opinions?

Unless you're anemic, which I doubt with your issues, I'd ditch the B12. Folate, vitamin B12, and iron play important roles in erythropoiesis. Erythroblasts require folate and vitamin B12 for proliferation during their differentiation.

90 day labs - High Total Test

I don't think you are going to see any major benefits in the first 90 days. The research that is available, though it has it's limitations, suggests that you will start to see changes in psychological and physiological variables in the first 3 months. But things will continue to improve across...

In Need of HCG - Could Use Advice

Coastwatcher is correct. The TRT shuts down your LH and FSH. No FSH, no spermatogenesis. No LH = no intratesticular testosterone production = no spermatogenesis.

    Daily Injections- what about HCG?

Vince, My understanding is exogenous T shuts down leydig cells endogenous production of T by negative feedback on the hypothalmic pituitary axis, which reduces LH secretion from the pituitary. The leydig cells and sertoli cells (which produce sperm) are in close proximity to one another. The...

Interview with Dr Ranjith Ramasamy- Author of Estradiol Papers

It's clear that low esterogen and elevated estrogen both cause serious morbidity and mortality in men. If you plotted this out with estrogen on the x-axis and morbidity and mortality on the y-axis, you would get a U-shaped curve. Where does he believe the "estrogen sweet spot" (the bottom of...

Anti Inflammatory Diet - Looking for Suggestions

In time, slow progressions with an inversion table would be beneficial. TENS can also help reduce pain, temporarily by gating the pain. Also the use of a reverse hyper would be very beneficial!

    HCG: Storage, Travel, Potency

Like I said, it varies from lot to lot. Could it be that high - sure? Will it be that high after purification, manufacturing, processing, lyophilizing, and being bottled. I doubt it. Does it matter no. The sigma sheet is helpful in my opinion. You can freeze a reconstituted vial - if you...

    HCG: Storage, Travel, Potency

"Solutions in water at ≥ 10 μg/ml can be stored as single use aliquots at 20°C. Solutions at 100 μg/ml in water are stable at 2-8°C for about 2-3 months." Typically 1 mg of HCG is going to be ~5000 IU, though you would need to call your pharmacist and have him confirm the IU/mg for that lot...

    Sermorelin, Ipamorelin, TB500

Fish oil can be supplemented anywhere from 1-6 grams of EPA+DHA / day. Make sure you pair your Vit D3 with fat. I take mine in the morning with fish oil and my protein shake, which includes MCT oil. You could bump that Vit D3 level up a bit from 2500 to 4000 or 5000. Just get it checked every...

Exogenous Ketones - Does Anyone Have Experience?

My experience has been that it did not get me to produce my own ketones more quickly, but it made the transition into ketosis easier to endure. I did not get the "keto-flu" when using exogenous ketones. Without it, I would have a period in the first week where I felt horrible.

TRT - Trying to Conceive and Looking for Direction

Then I would seek a urologist or fertility expert willing to treat you with clomid. This will raise your T and increase your sperm. Also I believe defy medical would be an option. If you search pubmed for Clomid male hypogonadism, you should stumble upon a few articles of interest.

TRT - Trying to Conceive and Looking for Direction

Tough situation. If fertility is the top concern in the next few months, I would stay off of TRT and lean more towards clomid. If fertility is a longer range concern, then go on TRT with HCG and you can always taper off TRT and keep the HCG. If your wife is unhappy now I can't imagine bringing a...

    HCG: Storage, Travel, Potency

For travel you can buy sealed sterile vials that are small from online med lab supply places. Why not aliqout a small volume and take it with you? Then you only have to worry about shaking and vibrating your more recent dosage and not the entire vial. Would also seem prudent to aliqout out small...

Two Months on TRT, Labs Taken as I Move to Defy

The MCV is the mean cell volume. It tells you the average size of a red blood cell. Typically this is a feature of anemia from lack of B12 or folate, although there are other causes. These larger cells are targeted for destruction and have faster turnover than smaller more mature cells. It may...

    Thoughts on AI in protocol?

Protocol is: Test Cyp - 140 mg/wk (70 mg every 3.5 days) HCG - 800 IU's/wk (400 IU every 3.5 days) Anastrozole - 0.50 mg/wk (0.25 mg every 3.5 days) Labs attached. I am concerned about using the AI from the start. Seems like they took into account the estrogen change in relation to the test...

    DEXA scan to detect osteopenia

The amount of radiation you get from a single DEXA scan is small. Roughly 1/20th a chest x-ray or less than the amount you will receive during a transatlantic flight. In fact, you get the same background radiation each day (~0.01 mSv) from soil, rocks, radon, sun, etc...that you would get from a...
