What are typical nandrolone plus TRT protocols?

People dealing with mood issues may want to try supplementing lithium, at least until the N is out of your system. Lithium has other benefits as well.

Potential beneficial impacts of tadalafil on CVD

Good to see a discussion of a very potent promoter of CV health with no mention of cholesterol. Nitric Oxide is a big deal. Also, as Dr Kendrick discusses in his book on heart health (The Clot Thickens), statins (weakly) promote Nitric oxide, so their barely detectable benefit may be due to that...

What are typical nandrolone plus TRT protocols?

The times I've tried ND I seemed to get a very subtle version of what USMC describes, however NPP doesn't seem to have any mood negatives.

PT 141 not being made by Empower!

While not a compounding pharmacy, I have used Peptide Sciences with excellent results. PT-141 and MT-2 (which acts similarly, but with excessive (IMO) tanning affect) seem to be two of the most reliably legit compounds.

    Kidney Concerns

I've had some kidney concerns and in general I view the kidneys as a very under-appreciated risk. A few thoughts: - Get a cystatin C test. From everything I've researched, it is one of the best, if not the best, overall test of kidney function. Many of the other tests are very subject to...

    Lower back pain

I've had lower back issues off and on all my life and one of the first things to try is to lie on you back with a rolled up towel under your lower back (similar to a device called a lumbar extender). Even if this doesn't help, it is simple to try and if you feel muscles relaxing when you do...

CJC-1295 vs Ipamorelin vs Tesamorelin vs hGH

I have tried all of these except HGH to try to resolve some nagging joint issues. My next step will likely be HGH and another con I would add is the apparent variation between different HGH sources. All the other things on the list can be tried at fairly low cost from reliable sources, however...

Growing Role of Lp(a) in Cardiovascular Risk Assessment

Unfortunately, none of the studies I have seen assessing the risk of Lp(a) have assessed people with high levels who have truly heart-healthy practices such as low fasting insulin, healthy nitric oxide levels, avoidance of seed oils, low inflammation, sensible sun exposure, heart-healthy...

Excess niacin causes blood vessel inflammation and cardiovascular disease

AFAIK, niacin is one of the few things that lower Lp(a). It is important to take a methyl donor with it however.

My CAC calcium score is high- Should I take vitamin K?

While Vitamin K2 is a must IMO, (I use both forms) there are lots of other things to take as well such as Vitamin C. Read the book The Clot Thickens by Dr. Malcolm Kendrick. There are also things to avoid such as long-term use of Ibuprofen or Naproxen. Things which promote Nitric Oxide are also...

    Test enanthate dosage??

First, it's going to take a few weeks for your natural production to cease, so you will be in a a state of high fluctuation until you reach a new steady state. 160 per week still sounds very high to me. Some people do very well on a dosage like that but others do best on much lower dosages like...

    Leaky gut

DR. Gundry's book Gut Check covers this topic I believe. I haven't read it but I have heard him interviewed on the topic. Curing his own leaky gut apparently resolved his enlarged prostate. There is a test for it (Zonulin and/or LPS maybe?) but I have forgotten exactly what it is. The cure...

Tirzepatide vs Semaglutide: Pros and Cons

This has puzzled me too since (among other things) these drugs apparently slow down intestinal motility, however I understood slow food passage to be associated with (and likely causative of) colon cancer.

    Time to lean bulk?

IMO, you should absolutely be training to gain muscle and for all-around athleticism. Low muscle mass is not good, and you don't know whether the other aspects of your protocol are sustainable until you have the workload you need to maintain long-term. 8% is somewhat arbitrary and likely not...

    DSIP Spray

I have not used it but have heard that it takes many hours for it to have an effect, so taking it in the morning often works better, but you will have to experiment and see.

I'm in my early 40s and my calcium score came back 200 with most of it in the LAD. How did this happen?

Kudos to you for actually reading and educating yourself. That book essentially becomes a tool against which almost all actions can be validated against. It's also worth noting that statins are well-known to not reduce plaque and apparently hasten the calcification of soft plaques, which the...

I'm in my early 40s and my calcium score came back 200 with most of it in the LAD. How did this happen?

Two additional thoughts... Dr. Gundry mentioned in one of his books/podcasts that there are actually long-lived, healthy people who smoke, however they also live in areas where their diet is very high in Vitamin C. The mechanism is apparently that smoking causes very high oxidative stress which...

I'm in my early 40s and my calcium score came back 200 with most of it in the LAD. How did this happen?

I agree that 500mg of androgens per week is likely a net negative (although how much an active lifestyle counters this is worthy of discussion.) However, singling out that one thing does not seem valid in comparison to other potential contributors. Further, it's not really relevant now and could...

I'm in my early 40s and my calcium score came back 200 with most of it in the LAD. How did this happen?

Then read the book!!!! There is no substitute for becoming literate on the details. CVD is a combination of 1) damage to the glycocalyx and endothelium, 2) excess blood clotting to repair the damage, and 3) inadequate removal/reabsorption of the repair (plaques). If lowering LDL reduced these...

I'm in my early 40s and my calcium score came back 200 with most of it in the LAD. How did this happen?

I would strongly suggest reading the book "The Clot Thickens" by Dr. Malcolm Kendrick. I'm going to post a formal book review here before too long but after reading it you will be vastly more fluent in the process of heart disease, (and LDL is a very minor player.) From what you've said, smoking...

My PT141 Arrived Today - Is 20 Units Considered Too Much?

If you know the amount of liquid in the vial and the total mg of PT-141 then you can calculate it. So for example, if the vial has 10mg of PT-141 and you added 5 ml of water, then that would be 2mg for a full syringe, so 1/10 of a syringe would be 200 MCG.

My PT141 Arrived Today - Is 20 Units Considered Too Much?

What does that equate to in micrograms? (MCG). I would start at no more than 500mcg and preferably 100-300mcg, and gradually work up. If you inject before bed you should have noticeable benefit in the morning. Injecting more (to start with) can give more side effects than benefit. You will feel...

What are typical nandrolone plus TRT protocols?

Have you tried DMSO and BPC-157 yet? I have nothing against Nandrolone but those two are my go-to's for joint issues. You might also review the "fixes for joint issues" thread.

    Low Dose Nandrolone With TRT

This is a meta-study and I didn't see even any dosage ranges, let alone actual doses studied. Also, if these finding were valid one would think that they would have been reported by users, especially since symptoms they describe are consistently reported for other compounds such as aggression...

    Chronic systemic inflammation

I've never heard of T being either the cause or cure for inflammatory issues, and I know of no logic or evidence for it being the issue. In general you likely need to be working with a good holistic/integrative Doc. There are a lot of other things to consider: - Follow a protocol to eliminate...

    Severe Muscle Pain from Crestor?

Is that measuring levels in the blood or in the cells? I am sure taking it orally would raise blood levels but that does not mean it is making it into cells at an equivalent time, place and amount as would be the case if the body was producing it naturally, especially since it is produced in the...

    Severe Muscle Pain from Crestor?

Thanks. Now that you mention this, I did hear an interview with Barry Tan where he described this. However, it sounds very preliminary, and also doesn't appear to address the other issues with statins (such as cognitive issues) and general lack of benefit compared to root cause approaches. As an...

    TRT and Muscle Loss

1 gram seems excessive. I would shoot for around 100 grams per day on average from quality foods, avoid wheat, seed oils, and processed foods, and then train sensibly looking to progress. Do that for 18 month or so and then reassess.
