2.5 weeks in, is ai necessary?

2.5 weeks in so far. 120mg split into two doses. I've been experiencing nipple sensitivity and low libido for the past few days, so decided to do early blood work before taking ai. Doctor wanted me to start the ai from day 1 but I held off to see if I actually need it. Is nipple sensitivity a good reason to start? Other than that and the low libido I feel fine.

This is turning out to be a high dose for you. Your hormone levels are not reaching a steady state until 42 days. The nipple sensitivity is expected and common and not necessarily related to estrogen but testosterone as well. The nipple sensitivity is caused by hormonal fluctuations.

Starting an AI based on a feeling or nipple sensitivity is a bad idea! Manipulate your testosterone dose and throw your AI in the trash.

If you want to maintain these levels throughout the week, I would lower your dose to 40-50mg twice a week.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
