Hi everyone - been awhile. To the OP, when I was trying to get back on track, It took 6 months + as others have said. I also found TRT was just one aspect. I had to eat healthy and work out with intensity, as much sleep as I could get (this was a important factor - watch for sleep apnea), and...
OP, I noticed greater gains, faster recovery, and more energy when I was at 1000 then in the 600 hundreds. Being at 1000 was not intentional. I prefer to stay in the 600 range. That being said, I would not go on TRT for that reason if you otherwise have good levels. It is a pain, costs...
I am taking this as a test to reduce serum iron.

But not 18 g per day ! No major side affects - maybe tired during the day , but I am also putting in some extra hours at work in the morning so could be...
Hi Steve. In addition to the other great advice, you can consider surgery. My secretary and her brother both got it. He was in the 300s and both have had a huge improvement in their life and lost weight. I have worked with her for 13 years, every work day, so I know the struggles she had and...
Lactoferritin is interesting because it helps absorption, but then other studies says it chelates. I need to research this more. I have HH and while ferritin is easy to stay on top of, saturation in serum iron is really a struggle and unhealthy when high. I am unsure how lactoferritin will...
Understood. My thought was that your large dose reduction caused you to feel different, and perhaps that snow balled a bit into increased anxiety so the large drop in dose was the reason. Then the Dr. has you on three different meds and these sides can overlap. You are in the best position to...
If you are low on iron, you should get a full iron panel. If you can't get the full panel, then focus on Ferritin. Ferritin will be the most important as it is an indicator of iron stores, which your body draws on to make new RBC.
I am certainly not an expert, but if you were taking 1 mg AI weekly, that may be too much. Then, you took another .5. So 1.5 mg AI in a week for a T levels of 733. Might be too much AI and causing your E2 to be too low. Others more knowledgeable than me will comment. I agree with systemLord...
If you read the side affects for these items, many match up with what you are complaining about. Have you consider if these may be causing your unwanted feelings?
Good info. I will look into PFS more closely if it can occur even when DHT is in range. I don't want to cause myself more problems down the road. Any thoughts on the high E2 or use of AI? Thanks.
Thanks Vince. I was hesitant to go on it as I don't want crash DHT. That study that was linked was interesting. In that study the dose was 400% high than my dose, if my math is right, and at that dose, the DHT levels listed were below the normal range. I read that dutasteride can cut DHT by...
Hello everyone. I have been away for a bit. I need some help with labs and advice. My recent labs had some values that were too high. I am male, early 50’s - 6’4” – 218 lbs – 17% body fat, in gym about 4 days per week.
For years I was at about .21 ml (200mg/ml Test Cyp) every 3 days (SubQ) for...
