The people without insurance are usually the ones who can least afford to pay, and they are charged the most! And good luck trying to find out ahead of time what lab tests or anything else related to conventional medicine is going to cost. (I've tried). The whole system is a joke.

Does anyone have something that seems to work? What does the science tell us on what to look for? Not sure where to start with looking for something. For me, this is preventative more than anything. My skin is pretty good for someone in their 50's, but I'm hoping to keep it going.

If you read through the forums, you'll find that most doctors are uninformed and won't prescribe T, in spite of guys having low levels, and symptoms. So the likelihood of getting it prescribed by a non-TRT doc is low, regardless of how you try to play it. i'd suggest going with a TRT...

Not a bad idea, Vince. In which case I would push the labs out a few weeks more, to wait for the new protocol to stabilize.

Based on my reaction, the doc changed my prescription to anastrozole .15 g twice weekly. It will probably be several days before the new meds arrive from the compounding pharmacy, so I'll let everything stabilize in the meantime, and try again. The headaches are gone and the feverish feeling...

Guys, I appreciate the feedback, but I have no intention of getting rid of Defy or Dr. Crisler. I'll remind you that e2 was at the very top of the reference range, and symptoms were present.

What are the symptoms of tanked E2?
