The people without insurance are usually the ones who can least afford to pay, and they are charged the most! And good luck trying to find out ahead of time what lab tests or anything else related to conventional medicine is going to cost. (I've tried). The whole system is a joke.

Based on my reaction, the doc changed my prescription to anastrozole .15 g twice weekly. It will probably be several days before the new meds arrive from the compounding pharmacy, so I'll let everything stabilize in the meantime, and try again. The headaches are gone and the feverish feeling...

Guys, I appreciate the feedback, but I have no intention of getting rid of Defy or Dr. Crisler. I'll remind you that e2 was at the very top of the reference range, and symptoms were present.

There are folks here that likely know far more about TRT than your local docs. Look into Defy medical for your treatment. I just started with them and have been happy so far as are many others here.

When evaluating T, we look at the total T, as well as the free T. But when we look at estradiol, there seems to be only one number. Does the estradiol test measure free estradiol, or total? It would seem to me that if estradiol is bound to SHBG, then it would be of little consequence, and...

I checked my pre-TRT labs from my regular doc, and found that my prolactin level is (or was) on the high end: 12.2 (ref 2.6 - 13.1). So unless maybe TRT has brought it down, this could possibly be part of the problem, and therefore Cabergoline a potential solution.
