I appreciate the detailed information , madman. Very informative. Quoting above:
...High FSH levels indicate seminiferous tubule dysfunction (reflecting reduced inhibin B negative feedback) and impaired sperm production but is a more sensitive indicator of primary testicular...

@madman
Could I get your opinion on these values, as to whether one would consider TRT? And why my LH and FSH are high?
Hematocrit 43.7
Estradiol 14 pg/mL (Ultrasens,LC/MS)
FSH 21.5 mIU/mL
LH...
I take 25mg DHEA and 50mg Pregnenolone. But, start with 25mg for a few months and see how you feel. It's a problem when people add too many supplements without taking a long enough stepped approach. My libido is now better than when I was on TRT. Doing things to increase circulation has also...
The point was certainly true when I compared the Kyzatrex ADX Card method to the LC-MS of blood draw.
910 compared to 764, respectively for total T and 170 compared to 90 for free T.
I'm that familiar with oxandrolone-will look in to that. Tried Clomid but it raised E2 significantly but did nothing for T or T free. My FSH, LH are high end, so I assume the brain is in overdrive telling the testes to ramp up production but, the Leydig cells are reduced due to age so limited...
Here's an update FYI. Just out of curiosity, I did the Kyzatrex Lab test kit above. But also did Quest Lab (through Discounted Labs of Course). Both labs were completed within 1 hour of each other 8am and 9am. Values are in same format for both. Only, diff is I used LC/MS in Quest where it...
It would be interesting to see a study in older males on possible recovery of T and improvement in body composition with exercise, varying rates and types of physical training.
I didn't think it was possible to have exogenous T at any level without shutting down your own T, even incrementally. Supposedly the oral forms have less impact on shut down, but I haven't seen research on any specific values or proportionality. Sure would be holy grail for me. Maybe Madman...
